Hotel Alba Palace

Absolutely great hotel! Awesome location, reasonable price, nice breakfast, and very friendly staff! Especially Verena from front desk, she patiently helped us to make a couple calls to doctor offices when we need some emergency visits. Thank you!

Staff was very friendly. Love the variety at breakfast. Enjoyed my stay. Close to train which is nice if you are doing day trips to other cities.

Great location walking distance to historic center and train station. Comfy beds but bathroom is very small but we made do. A solid choice.

Very convenient location and excellent breakfast. I appreciated the 24/7 reception as I arrived on a late flight, and also being able to store my luggage after checkout. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful.

As a three adult family travelling together, the larger room option was perfect for us. Really easy to get to from the train station/airport tram. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was maybe 10 minutes walk from the Duomo, and there were restaurants, cafes and a gelato shop really close. There is also a happy hour at the bar on site, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast could have been a little better, and the walls between rooms were a little thin so the noise levels is dependent on your neighbours, but overall I would recommend this hotel to others.

Very friendly staff, breakfast offering a lot of options and top location

Lovely hotel with personality. I actually felt like I was back in time. Excellent location. We walked everywhere. And the train station is around the corner. So we came from Roma by train, walked to the hotel from the station. My 68 yo mother walked that distance with a carry-on, you can do it to :). Everything was clean. Had a safe inside large enough for laptop. We have one queen and one small bed. The small bed was not the most comfortable, but manageable. Air conditioning was working fine and you can control the temperature yourself from inside your room. Hot water, amenities, all there, nice. The restroom door is a sliding door, so is not like a regular door but it does the trick. I might be blind but only could find one electrical outlet. Luckily, I carry a power strip so I could charge, camera, battery, and phones, computer all at once. Breakfast was great. Also there is a free drink during happy hour. Nice. Can store bags before or after check in/out before you head out to your next destination. Very nice hotel. Recommended.

The Breakfast Buffet was fabulous - so many options which catered to all dietary needs such as gluten-free and vegan. Staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly with helping store luggage before check-in and after check-out.

This hotel is a gem. It is under five minute walking from the Florence train station. The hotel staff was nice, the hotel was very clean, and had a very nice breakfast. Also good air conditioning.If you’re traveling with the family of four they offer a wonderful two story room that has a big queen size bed on the first floor and then upstairs a loft area with two twin beds. It is walking distance to all of the shopping and restaurants in Florence. They have a nice happy hour with a free drink on certain nights of the week, but always have some snacks and water available in the bar area.

I had a great time at my short stay at Hotel Alba Palace! The staff were welcoming and the room was spotless. I was pleased to be able to store my luggage there for a few hours after I checked out while I waited for my transportation to arrive. Thank you!!

Nice place, very clean. Good breakfast!

This was a great experience. I was traveling with my husband and two children aged 11 and 14. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are large. In fact, our bathroom had two sinks a bathtub and shower. The breakfast had a lot of options and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The biggest shout out and praise goes to Marco, who helped us out in a bind! Unexpectedly, our flights going home to the United States were canceled, and Marco helped us call our Italian airline to get us on a different flight. He also helped us find a hotel reservation in Rome and spoke Italian to the people there and that resulted in a reduced rate. This is a great place to stay, especially for a family. We stayed here at the end of our 14 day trip and really loved it.
