Hotel Assisi

The staff/owners are very nice people. The breakfast was lovely and they made us coffees, provided map and places to go and see. One night we even spent an evening in their lounge for a few drinks. It is very near Termini station and a nice family restaurant called Andrea’s two doors down.

The hotel is vey convenient for people travelling to Rome. It is very close to termini station. The room was has described and we were easily able to use with our daughter who’s in wheelchair. The only draw back was the elevator’s opening is only 24 inches wide as it’s an older building. Our daughter’s chair is 26 inches wide. After informing them about the wheelchair they made every effort to accommodate us. We only had to take a wheel off to get in and out of the elevator. We got it done.

Cute hotel with great staff. When we checked in we were given a map and she gave us ;its of valuable info. Not far from the train station and very walkable to all the sights we wanted to see. The room and bathroom were small but clean and well set up. 24hr reception desk staff. You have to drop your key at the desk anytime you leave the hotel. There is an elevator and the room has a safe. Breakfast is available at a cost. The Andrea restaurant that was basically next door was amazing.

The is very conveniently located near Termini station, which makes easy to get from the airport.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms have been refurbished with a comfortable bed and crisp clean linen. The bathroom modern with excellent water pressure especially in the shower that has an oversized rainhead shower.

It was clean, but very basic. The elevator only holds 1 guest at a time. The room was average. The staff was very friendly.

They treat their gusts well. So nice and welcoming approach to their customers. Breakfast served as how we treat our own guests.

Close to the train station

Very convenient to Roma Termini train station. I received a warm welcome and the staff were happy to hold my luggage until checkin. They offered suggestions for what to do in the area. In general the hotel was a little dated, but the AC and ceiling fan worked, the room was clean, and they had everything I needed.

Location dining options transportation

We booked this hotel the same day in the morning while we were on the train traveling to Rome. When we arrived at the premises, the owner very nonchalantly indicated that the previously booked room which had been confirmed to be booked, he had already given to someone who passed by and happened to walk in and ask for a room to stay. He offered to pay a taxi for us to go and stay at a smaller and cheaper hotel that he booked with the money that we paid for his hotel. When the taxi arrived, thank God that I asked the taxi driver whether the owner of the hotel had arranged for PAYMENT, because if I had not asked this question, then the owner would’ve sent us to the other hotel without even paying for the taxi which he indicated he would pay to begin with. He was unbothered, unfriendly and impatient. He did not want to issue a refund for the room because he indicated that we had paid it through a third-party. When we got to the other hotel, their room was significantly smaller and he had booked two small beds instead of one queen bed for a couple, like we had booked at his hotel originally. Please, stay away from this hotel. Rome is filled with small convenient hotels who have friendly staff. It is not worth it to deal with these type of people. They are sneaky, deceitful, and obviously do not follow any rules or take accountability for any of their mistakes like we do in America. STAY AWAY! Enjoy your stay somewhere else!

Very friendly and clean hotel, great location woth many amenities nearby. Room and bathroom where dated, small, but manageable.

The room and bathroom were much smaller than the photos appeared online. Arrived late afternoon for just one night - the place seemed horribly dreary. Morning and breakfast were much more cheerful downstairs. Overall ok for an overnight.
