Perfect location for the beach and city centre, easy walk to both locations. Parking was available for 3 of the 4 nights, the last night we had to find our own so the parking is not gauranteed. Overall it was a great stay and would definately recommend.

I have to especially comment on the help I received from Philomena (sorry if I spelled incorrectly) This young lady made this trip much less stressful than it was. She was so helpful and kind I would have been lost without her. All the staff was fantastic but she especially was there for me.

From my Australian perspective this Hotel is well positioned - next to the old part of town but you are required to walk back the way you drove/walked in and swing a left, cross the bridge over the water way and go straight ahead. We ate an evening meal at the restaurant first on your left which is tucked away a little and is part of another hotel. This is just once you enter the mentioned street/walkway leading into the old town. The Augustus Hotel - we ordered a twin room and received a double room with a roll out bed - watch this issue when booking into your room. We mentioned this on departing and they said they thought we were going to be more comfortable with a roll out bed -? We could not get to the fridge without moving the roll out bed. It's probably our fault for not raising the issue immediately, but after driving for hours in pouring rain one does not need another argument. The facilities are very clean - bleach clean. The bathroom was geared for a handicapped person. I was unaware of the obvious need for such a room. When did you last sit on the seat and not touch the floor? The shower - we Australians like to shower daily - set aside a bit of time - the pressure was so poor one could almost dry yourself whilst standing under the shower. Be advised, there is a fast train line between the Hotel and the beach - the windows are double glazed! The breakfast was magnificent and worth the stay just for that and the location.

Excellent choice for business travelers Hotel Augustus is very well suited for business travelers. The hotel is clean, hygienic, and efficiently organized, creating a comfortable and reliable stay. The rooms are renovated, quiet, and well maintained—ideal for resting and working after a long day. The staff is professional and friendly, and the owner is genuinely welcoming, which adds a personal yet professional touch. The on-site restaurant is another strong point, offering excellent, high-quality food, which is very convenient for business stays. I would choose this hotel again without hesitation and confidently recommend it to other business travelers.

The hotel staff and services are very good. Really cozy hotel. We had an hotell room with a terrace towards the river with the morning sun shining in on us. Good breakfeast with local honney, good choice of meat and fruit. Great coffe. The dinner was amazing with good seafood, must try for youre stay. Note its in the city you got to accept some noise, but we felt it was perfectly situated for us in the old town center. An historical city with fort, castle walls and old buildings. Cozy marked. It was room for us to park right outside something we did.
