The staff were so wonderful - always kind, attentive, smiling and there to help. The breakfast was superb too! The room could use a bit of updating, but it was incredibly clean and comfortable still, so would happily stay again.

Great little hotel right on the lake. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Discounted parking nearby organised by the hotel. Walking distance to restaurants and ferry to explore the lake. Great last minute find!

Our new Euro 2-pin plugs only worked in 1 of the many electrical sockets which was a nuisance. The hotel sockets weren't the newest. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Good varied breakfast. Short walk to the centre of Desenzano for the cafes, restaraunts and ferry to Sirmione.

Great hotel with excellent hosts - Lena and Gabrielle. Upon check in I asked for lake facing room even though I had not booked this room type, my request was granted at no additional cost. Breakfast was excellent as was the service with plenty of choice - cereals, fruit, breads, croissants, eggs, cheeses, ham, juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water. Nothing was too much for Lena and Gabrielle who were always present to take care of their customers needs going above and beyond one day to provide my family with a lift to Sirmione (free of charge) when we were unable to get a taxi. Rooms were of a decent size , comfortable beds and with a large bathroom - cleaned excellently on a daily basis. Private beach across the road 20 yards away, restaurant next door to the hotel that you could eat in or takeaway food to eat on the beach (Large pizza and fries 10 euro) or hotel rooftop terrace and next door to the restaurant was a mini market selling cold drinks (water 0.5 euro, Coke/Fanta cans 1.5, cold beer 1.5), sandwiches and snacks. Lots of great restaurants nearby and the ferry terminal is 5 minute walk away with services to numerous villages around the lake. Bus stop facing the ferry terminal. Train station is 15 minute walk away or 8 euro in a taxi. Overall excellent hotel, owners and staff - would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the near furture. The mattress was too hard! Everything else was wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they put a beautiful bouquet of flowers in our room. Our room was comfortable and overlooked the lake. The hotel is an easy walk into town and the lake ferries. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The buses and taxis weren’t running too often so the owner gave us a ride to the train station, which was so nice of her. Breakfast was very good and there is a great rooftop terrace, overlooking the lake. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay, very nice staff

Right on the lake and close to restaurants. However room was very very small. Shower self was loose and moldy. AC unit was loud. Staff was super nice.

Lovely hotel, on the lake front. The trees in front have many more branches/greenery then the photograph indicates. Superb,friendly staff. Cleanliness is excellant. Hidden treasure is the rooftop terrace, very relaxing an quiet as most of the time we had it to ourselves.

The location is simply amazing, hotel is also pretty comfortable for a three stsr ,the staff makes you feel welcome and are very professional. The breakfast is very basic but tasty! I would definitely come back !

Nice wmall hotel, cozy with pleasent staff. Close to everything, with free parking. We stayed 1 night and enjoyed it very much.

I do think the off road parking was a little tightly packed maybe needs to replanned

First visit to Lake Garda, but delighted with the location of hotel. Right opposite the shoreline and very close to the town and all amenities. Great for meals out and generally strolling around. Hotel was basic but clean and tidy, and staff very friendly and obliging. Good value for a budget hotel. Roof terrace gave an excellent view of much of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Would not hesitate to use this hotel or resort again.

If you're looking for a budget hotel in an excellent location, I would recommend the Aurora. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend trying for a room with a view of the lake. The bathroom looked a little 'tired' but was kept clean and tidy. Great location as ferry, train and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.
