Rooms did not have any fans or air conditioning functioning and had mosquitos and ants along with loud neighbors. Despite asking for a different room nothing was done for three days. For the price would look elsewhere.

Property was well situated for easy access to all of the city. Room was clean and good size. The bath tub/shower was a bit small but was functional. We couldn’t figure out how to get the room to a comfortable temperature for sleeping so we opened the windows since it was a bit cooler at this time of year.

This was a wonderful surprise. A classic hotel that has been maintained with so much care. Everything feels clean and the staff very friendly. The location was perfect as well. Oh, and the breakfast was great as well. We visit Venice often, and I think we have found a new favorite.

The Wifi is unreliable and buffers regularly at night. Hard to watch sports and movies. But other than that it was wonderful. Desk staff very fluent in English and helpful.

Absolutely would stay here again. Perfect location. Hotel had a fantastic vibe to it. Room with terrace was brilliant. Didn’t need for anything more. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful & friendly. Fantastico

What we liked: close to St. Mark’s Square & to boat station, there were 2 showers & 2 sinks in the bathroom, good for family of 4 (1 couple bed & 2 single beds).
What we did not appreciate: the room was too hot & stuffy, they suggested to just open the windows but then the alleys were noisy until past midnight; the only hotel which did not provide complimentary water bottles.

Really torn about a 3 or 4 star rating as although the hotel was ok, it just didn’t live up to expectations. Staff were good other than one who wouldn’t open the bar, we stayed over Christmas and specifically picked a hotel with a bar for that reason, incase other places were not open, and Christmas Eve the guy just point blank refused.
The facilities were ok, in good condition but just doesn’t feel to 4 star standard so was a bit disappointing overall as an experience hence the mark down. Basically just a reception area with a bar, a cramped breakfast room and bedrooms.

Mainly good location except entrances to the hotel were through a narrow lane which felt unsafe. The main area was only 100 yards or so, but anyone could be behind you.
As a solo lady didn’t enjoy this lane and no mention on Expedia before I booked.
Most staff were ok but some were unhelpful when asked where some places were. 1 receptionist didn’t want to mark my map and when pressed clearly marked a totally different area. So I walked 20 mins to be told I was in the wrong place.
On arrival the room allocated stank of drains, I flushed the WC several times but it was dreadful. I went to reception and had to be forceful to change rooms. First receptionist simply shrugged and said they had no other too
available which was a lie. Fortunately another receptionist took over and I was moved.
They took pleasure later in saying the maid didn’t smell anything!
