The hotel is located close to the train station, which is great. The staff were great and friendly. But the room was stinking of a cigarette smoke although smoking was prohibited. The shower in the room was broken. Hot water was coming through bath tap only, the shower head had low pressure for cold water and no hot water at all. The issue has been reported to the reception, hopefully it was fixed. The room number was 666, just in case.

The hotel and room was very clean and the breakfast was extremely varied to suit all tastes and nationalities. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and answered any questions we had. Well worth the money!

Great hotel. I really enjoyed my stay at Citta Dei. Breakfast was a plus, with many options. Staff was very kind and helpful. The mattress was very comfortable. It is a little bit far from Citta Alta, but it was close to bus 1, that takes you there. I really enjoyed the breakfast!!!

Good location for the train station and lower city, on bus route and nearby supermarket. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Clean and comfortable.

Rather fond of Città Dei Mille. It looks as if it was the latest thing back in the 1970s, but I probably thought the same about myself then. Everything runs smoothly and pleasantly, from the friendly reception staff to the abundant buffet breakfast. The single room was "compact"; the bathroom was at least twice the size of those in a North Sea ferry cabin, but it included a real bath (which I was pleased to use). And it's a fifteen-minute walk to find a trattoria or to catch the No 1 bus to the airport. I've used it a few times and I've always been happy with it.

Nice 3* hotel. All the staff were friendly, especially the night manager. We chatted with him every night ans he always made sure there were cold beers in the fridge for when we areived back at yhe hotel. Nice selection of food available at breakfast. Great location. Short journey on the bus from the airport. Probably a 30 minute walk to thw old town and 40 minute walk to Gweiss Stadium. Would definitely stay again.

Got a small single room (which i expected). The room itself was clean and i slept well in the bed, which was comfortable. Breakfast was nice, with good variety. Front desk staff helpful (good english) and my room was ready at 12, rather than 3pm as advertised. Issues were: - the shower was an over the bath shower. Not usually an issue, but there was nowhere to hang the shower head and there was no shower curtain. This meant you had to hold the shower head at all times and god help you if you have long hair and want to wash it. The bathroom also ended up soaking due to no shower curtain/screen. Unforgivable for a hotel these days. Especially when a wall fitting/curtain would cost about a fiver each. - No air conditioning (there was a box that looked like it controlled the air con on the wall, but it was broken). It was relatively warm in the small room. Would be uncomfortable in the summer. - There was a ceiling fan, but it only ran at full speed or not at all. I left it off to avoid a final destination type death in the night (it was violently fast and didnt seem particularly well attached to the roof). Fix the above issues and id be happy to stay again.

The breakfast was amazing

Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room, bathroom and bed very clean. Breakfast very good, setting you up for a days touring. Pleasant walk through the streets from hotel to the old town. Bergamo a hidden gem and will definitely revisit.

Good location ten min from station; bed comfortable. Tub pretty narrow, and not a lot of hot water. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was decent. I’d stay here again.

Nice place. The heat wouldn’t turn off in the room and the light wouldn’t turn on but the place was quiet, nice, and clean. I recommend.
