What a find! I expected a pkace this clise to the airport, and at such a reasonable price, to be quite average. Which would have been fine. But Hotel Franchi is a gem!
Great, above-and-beyond service. Welcoming staff. A lovely lounge area on the ground floor, with a small pub for drinks and food. Clean and comfortable room, with a balcony! I can't say enough about how lovely this place is.
For accessibility: one step up to get in the door and a small elevator if you don't want to use the stairs.
I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Florence.

Friendly staff. Quiet area. Nice little restaurant to get breakfast inside. Outside of the area there isn't a lot to walk to. I appreciates the safe and free parking. Nice hot water after traveling 24+ hours.

Perfectly adequate for a quick overnight to catch an early plane. Very noisy bc of thin walls. Shuttle was helpful to get to the airport in the early morning, though the driver drove like a maniac. It was slightly unnerving.

We arrived early due to cancelled flight and nowhere to go or leave luggage. They accommodated and allowed access to room as soon as it was cleaned. Room was clean and comfortable.

A very short 1 night stay due to an early flight. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Let us into our room an hour ahead of official check-in time. Shuttle bus turned up on time although EUR15 for a 5 minute transfer to the terminal was too much

Great for a night before flying out.
Need to arrange shuttle time when you check in (especially if early am flight) and there is a E$15 charge but very convenient compared to walking to tram or finding a taxi.
Was a long but doable walk to Boboli Gardens
