Great staff, very welcoming! 7 minute walk to the colosseum. Couldnt ask for more!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They provided a breakfast every morning in their dining room and it was delicious. They even offered cappuccinos. The room was so clean and smelt fresh. It was large and felt very cozy. The hotel is about 3 blocks walking distance to the Colosseum and all the important locations to the center of Rome. We walk ever everywhere from here. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed for 3 nights in the triple room. Pros: The hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel has onsite parking which is a big plus. Breakfast is very good. Location of the hotel is also excellent. They also provide free bottle of water. Rooms are also generally clean. Cons: our room was close to elevator and unfortunately it was noisy during the nights and very difficult to sleep. Rooms are very basic but funtional. It could be better if rooms could include coffee or tea maker. Generally this was a budget hotel and I would like to thank the staff.

We have been to Rome a more than a few times over the years and find ourselves always returning to Hotel Lancelot. It is located on a side street within walking distance of restaurants and the Colosseum. It is a lovely clean hotel with excellent service!

Staff were great, center of city, close to metro and bus rides

This hotel is in a safe and quiet area. The nice thing, it is close to the coliseum and easy to get to other historical areas of Rome. There are some local neighborhood restaurants and bars to walk to. The best homemade gelato place is just a two minute walk! The nightly dinner offered by the chef at hotel is amazing and worth experiencing!

Great location. Way under sold for the great price. Excellent breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, meat, juices, and even mozzarella in a water bath. Very large room with Colosseum visible from the balcony.

Great location, awesome staff and breakfast. We were only in Rome for 3 nights. Due to being so close to the collosium check for protests, strikes or acitivies during your stay. The Rome police will close roads that could complicate traveling by car. Once you get there use pubic transportation or walk. Subway is very easy.

Myself and my two teenage sons had a delightful stay at hotel Lamcelot. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is great - 5 mins to the colosseum, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, close to the metro. It was the best trip!

Very convenient, staff excellent, room large and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel and nice service but the desk was a bit busy when we checked I. So it felt a little chaotic. They were kind enough to arrange taxis for us the get to Fiumicino and Termini.

Hidden Gem

Lovely property very near the Colosseum, bus and metro stops, and lots of outside dining options. Hotel has a simple, but nice breakfast, dinner (must reserve the day before), and a bar for late night drinks and relaxing. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely ambience and very hospitable staff. Excellent location for sightseeing with some lovely restaurants/cocktail bars within 5 minutes walking distance. Our only disappointment was the size of our room with a tiny bathroom. And not much storage facility. (It was a standard double/twin.) Saying that, we weren’t in it for much of the day and only there for 5 nights, so daughter & I managed to live out of our suitcases.

Went to Rome for 3 days and stayed at the wonderful Hotel Lancelot. Great location very close to the colosseum and within 30 minutes of all other attractions. Friendly staff, clean hotel and rooms were of a good size.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location; 5 -10 mins walk from the Colosseum & the metro & also close to buses into the centre. We would recommend the hotel although we didn't feel it was excellent overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful & the downstairs area including sitting area and the bar was a very comfortable place to relax. Our room was the triple room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. However it was tired and a little shabby and needs to be updated. Compared to the rest of the hotel it was disappointing especially as we were celebrating a big birthday. We're used to similar priced European hotels & are not particularly fussy. We wouldn't recommend this room. Breakfast was good but the choices became more limited the later you arrived rather than being replaced throughout the morning. Customers were asking for croissants and chopped fruit each morning after 9am. A cappuccino for breakfast is always a priority in Italy but they were only available from the bar at a cost. Tips - avoid the triple room & have breakfast before 9am & you will have a lovely stay.
