Hotel Le Grazie

This property was scary, no one spoke English so don’t even bother staying here if you don’t speak Italian. The room I got sad it was gonna have one full bed, ended up being a room filled with about 4 random beds.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I have traveled the world for business and leisure for over 40 years. The receptionist, Francesca was extremely rude. Upon my arrival in Assisi by train, I called to ask if the hotel was walking distance from the train station and a short walk. She also and a straight shot. Walk straight and you're here. When I got to a roundabout, I had no idea where to turn; there were no signs indicating the hotel, so II called her again and asked which way I should turn. She started yelling at me as to why I could not find the hotel, in a drizzling rain. I thanked her and hung up. There was not a soul around. Finally, I saw a passing car and asked them. They directed me. When I arrived at the hotel, she gave me my key, never told me what floor I was on. The room key started with a 2 but was actually on the first floor. She never told me what the breakfast hours were or where I had to ask. When I got to my room, there were no working lights, except for a small light above the bed. No towels in the bathroom. Called down and they never arrived. Never able to shower as I never got towels. There was no mirror in the room, except for a kitchen clock size mirror in the bathroom. No safe in the room and no lighting in the stairwell that I had to take each time. Hotel was completely booked by a large group of people using the only elevator. Tripped going up the stairs. Asked for ice - said there was none.

We had a wedding party in the hotel (only guest not the bride and groom) we did not have a restaurant that night as the guest were using the hotel. When the guests arrived back after midnight they where very noisy and banging doors. There was no safe in room.

Lovely little hotel, couldn't be better for visiting Assisi. Helpful staff. Good Italian family restaurant nearby

Super close to train station(~4 blocks), nice and clean, comfortable. There were crying babies, kids, and screaming people who could be heard until at least 1am so would rate low for privacy.

this hotel was a great location. near the trail station, 5 minute walk. clean and quit. i would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay. Position is a short bus trip to centre of Assisi. On site parking was very handy.

Had 2 nights in a Assisi. It was about 3 long blocks from the train station so easy to walk as flat. Could roll luggage easily. Local bus stop was to the right at the end of the block and half a block to the left which took you to Assisi town up the hill. No sidewalks so would have been not so great a walk. 2€ to buy your ticket on the bus and you must validate it in the machine. A supermarket about a block from the train station as well.

We had a delightful stay at Le Grazie, Anna Maria was very helpful and cordial. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and to get to the old city the bus stop was less than a block away. We found a terrific restaurant by walking under the overpass by the train station (it takes 10 to 15 min.) and also visited the Basilica de San Francesco, not to be missed.

Stayed one night in June 4th, 2013. The hotel was overall good in comparison to other hotels in Italy. Good things are, (1) less expensive in price compared with other Italian hotel (2) had a dedicated parking place which is free, (3) the front desk was very nice and was eager to help, (4) a peaceful and pastoral scenery nearby. Bad things are, (1) located outside the central area. In my case, GPS was not properly working to find this location. (2) no restaurant in the hotel. Thus, no breakfast. Could be problematic to find a neat restaurant if you arrive late, since the hotel is located out of town. Anyway, worth to recommend if you approach by car.

Very nice. Located between train station and center of Assisi. Made travel convenient. Good breakfast, clean modern rooms, quiet location.

A very good photographer made this hotel look great but cramped rooms, ants in the bathroom and a 'tired' hotel made it not so attractive

Excelente recepção, com check-in antes do horário previsto. Super atenciosos, prestativos. O local é muito agradável, perto da estação e do ônibus para a Basílica. Café da manhã completo. Quarto limpo, confortável e roupas de cama e travesseiros muito confortáveis.

Hotel bonito por fora mas por dentro super antigo, precisando renovar e modernizar. aquecimento do quarto nao foi suficiente, passamos frio. chamamos alguem da recepção mas não resolveu. cafe da manha simples demais, muitas opçoes de bolos e alimentos doces, e salgado quase não havia nenhum.

Camera tripla molto scomoda, quasi impraticabile. Materasso matrimoniale composto da due singoli con dislivello e pieno di solchi. Scarsa pulizia e presenza di zanzare.
