I liked the hotel, BUT the rooms have Nao A/C functioning (they have the AC units producing Error- E4, so it does not turn on) and it was not advised during booking and communications.

Very disappointed that the policy was no air-conditioning although the room got over 84°F during the day. At night it didn’t cool down much more. If you left the windows open to cool down at night you had insects fly in. They should change their policy that if it’s over 75 Fahrenheit outside, they should turn the power on to the air-conditioning regardless of it being spring. No fans were offered for air flow. The hotel is convenient to stay for Marinello but if it’s hot, I would stay somewhere else with working air-conditioning.

This place is unique to say the least. What an amazing experience and the food in the restaurant was excellent. It’s a bit off the standard route, so either hire a car or drive or expect to pay around €40-50 for a taxi each way from Modena
