Excellent place to stay. It was clean and convenient. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! The view was nice from my window (I was in room 11). AC was a plus, but it wasn’t even needed half of the time because the room was cool (north facing). I will stay here again if I come back to Rome!

Hotel Okapi is a nice hotel. The staff are very nice. Rooms are adequate. The hotel is located in a wonderful spot. My only complaint is they have a sister hotel called the Panda. You have to go through them if you want a new reservation at the Okapi or if you want to stay longer. There’s a gentleman who answers the phone at the Hotel Panda who is extremely rude. They don’t want your business. They post prices on their website and then when you go to reserve the room, the price is higher than what they say it’s going to be. When I called to complain about it the host at the Panda was extremely rude and told me that if I didn’t want to pay the higher rate I could go elsewhere. I just thought it was very poor service and had it not been for the good location of the Okapi, I would certainly have gone elsewhere.

Great location, check-in was quick and easy, locating the room was easy, air conditioning unit was not working in our room and the room had no fridge to keep things cool, bed was comfortable. Overall enjoyed the stay, however the air conditioning could had been fixed, and there was a cooler present, room was a bit small but that was not was not an issue.

Service was great! Location was good too. The downside was the shower pressure was aggressive to say the least. The bed was awfully uncomfortable and the ac was not working to we had very restless nights.

There’s nothing fancy about this place but it’s clean, reasonably maintained and in a great location. Easy to get to from the airport and metro, then easy to walk to many of the main attractions (eg Colosseum is about a 40 minute stroll down the Corso). Decent food options nearby. Staff are just ok and bed was absolutely rock hard but otherwise, would recommend to a first timer or someone looking for a good budget stay.

It was okay, would of preferred paying the tax at the beginning of the trip not the end, we lost 50 Euros in our room which made us feel a bit uncomfortable in the hotel, and there was a black box in that kept going off at 3am with loud radio noises,and we would have to get up and turn the electricity off and on which wasn’t great. We also got locked out one night and no one was willing to help us that just kept repeating themselves and kept pressing the buzzer but it was locked on the inside and therefore the keys and buzzer did not not work, luckily another guest let us in. Great location, but the service could be improved.

Nice clean budget hotel. We stayed here for two weeks and found it excellent for public transport, with it being far enough from all the main attractions but close enough to them by foot if we wanted to visit at night. The staff were very helpful.
