Hotel Pironi

Amazing stay at a beautiful historical building. Located near the lakefront in amongst charming stone streets. Staff were warm, engaging and super helpful especially Alexandra. We will definitely return.

Excellent and beautiful hotel, great location. Everything was perfect. Room very clean and comfortable, good bathroom which was up some stairs. Breakfast was really good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking nearby in secure car park. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you.

This hotel had remodeled and updated a fabulous property and still kept it's "old world" charm. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lake making sunset with a bottle of wine a fabulous activity. Location is super. Once the car was parked, we never used it. All the restaurants, shopping, ferry, markets were easily in walking distant. The only negative would be the bathroom is up some stairs. It wasn't a problem for us, but it could be a problem for people with mobility issues. If that's you, they have rooms without stairs.

We spent 30 days in Italy and this hotel was the most memorable in the lakes region. It is special. The decor and wall treatments are just fantastic. It was exceptionally clean, and really handy to visit the town. Cannobio itself was a pleasant surprise. I could recommend this hotel to anyone. Easy, free parking in their garage was excellent.

We loved everything about Hotel Pironi, from the history and beautiful decor, ideal location, genuinely friendly staff, attention to detail, scrumptious breakfast, lovely room with excellent shower, really comfortable bed, ease of parking, I could go on and on. There was nothing at all we didn’t like. This is a truly wonderful hotel which made our stay in Cannobio a fabulous one - absolutely loved it and highly recommend Hotel Pironi!

The staff were outstanding. One of our bags with Emirates had been transported to London rather than Rome. Even though the airlines knew where the bag was they were very tardy in returning it to us (days) and the baggage handling process was complex. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to assist us including making two phone calls to Emirates call centre dealing with lost bags. We could not have asked for better service and it was there when we needed it. Thank you

The hotel was beautiful, staff and room were lovely. In a great location for exploring Cannobio and only a few minutes walk to the ferry terminals if you want to go further by boat. Only about 30 minutes drive from Locarno, hotel provides you with free underground parking. Breakfast was ideal.

What a wonderful find Hotel Pironi was. The combination of old world charm updated beautifully with a gorgeous lake side town is unbeatable. The staff was wonderful as was the breakfast each morning. Just loved this place!

Hotel Peroni is everything we had hoped for. It is full of character while also being very comfortable. The bed was great, the shower room was clean and well equipped, and the air conditioning was excellent. We has a lovely balcony with views over the lake. Breakfast was very good with excellent service, even when we requested an early start. Wholeheartedly recommended!

We followed directions given in a previous review and found the secure parking easily. Basically when you arrive in Cannobio from Milan/Turin direction you turn right into the tiny little street immediately before the main road becomes cobbled. We arrived at the secure parking and walked down the little cobbled streets to the hotel. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. She provided us with an electric gate remote. We walked back to the car opened the gates parked the car and proceeded on foot to the hotel with our bags. It was all very simple and fairly relaxed although the incline of the small roads in Cannobio can be rather steep so if you have disabled or old people in tow it could be a problem. The hotel has a small lift so no problem getting luggage up to the room. Our room was lovely it had a very large King Size bed and two sets of French doors which opened out onto a balcony. There was also a superb en-suite bathroom with was accessed by a wooden staircase. We read in a couple of previous reviews some moans that there is no air conditioning and that they thought the heat was unbearable. We stayed in July 2014 and found that the room had a fan which we used and we then also left the French doors open during the night. By doing this we found that it was very easy to sleep. The room was very clean and was serviced every day. The Breakfast was fantastic with a large choice and they offer to cook fresh eggs for you.

On arrival we were given the choice of three rooms all of which were great, the room we chose had it's own 'logia' great location and the receptionist could not have been more helpful. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Hotel con encanto. Edificio clásico en el centro de la localidad, muy bien restaurado y adaptado y decorado. A unos pasos del lago y sus restaurantes en la ribera, Personal muy amable. Desayuno excelente en un bello comedor. Un poco difícil de acceder en coche.

Eines der schönsten Hotel die ich schon hatte. Zimmer geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Das ganze Hotel liebevoll gestaltet und genau so liebevoll ist das Personal bis ins kleinste Detail.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr ruhig und das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Alles bestens.
