Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme

All the staff was helful , Clean and rooms are spaceful The only things that needs to be adjusted is the soundproof doors and walls otherwise was all perfect .Breakfast was abundant and fresh .Restaurant excellent service , good quality and tasty food. Coffee machines and snacks machine was availble too . Felt safe and pampered

Very good location and amazing staff

The hotel is what it reminds of my young days in the military; like a military style dorm type apartment… I figure this building was an apartment complex at one point and converted into a hotel… the doors are new but the decors inside the room is.. something.. At least it was clean and free of bugs..the stay was adequate I would say. Bathroom was usable.. otherwise if it weren’t a hasty trip decision, for €100 per night, theres other places that could be better. This hotel is near PQ?/Line 1 bus route (castiglione) so download the “ctm busfinder” app and buy tickets on the app, get on the bus and open the app on the ticket you bought and scan the qr code posted all over the bus..

I was without an option in Cagliari as at 21:00 hours there were no public transport available and the last minute arangement turned out in a treat where I could get organized and start my journey in full decency.

Big old fashioned room. Cleaned daily. Balcony, air con.

Great location and easy access off a late night ferry! Clean and comfortable, great breakfast too!

It was really nice

We stayed for 4 nights at Residence Ulivi e Palme. We enjoyed it a lot. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was rich with choices, so every person was able to find something that would work for them. It is worth a 5-star rating.

The room was big and the staff was LOVELY!

*Warning: They shut off the air conditioning from midnight until 1:00 PM. Unless you plan on traveling in the winter, or are comfortable sweating excessively while you sleep during the hot summer, do not book this hotel. We checked in late afternoon and went to our room to find it quite warm. We figured the room would cool once we turned on the AC / put our key card in the slot to indicate we were in the room, but it never did. We called the reception and complained and they said we should not touch the thermostat and that they can control the temperature via computer. However, the room never cooled. We went out for dinner, came back and it was still quite warm. At that point they offered to switch our room, but told us the air AC shuts off at midnight and turns on back again at 1PM so it wouldn’t make a difference. This is not what is advertised on the Hotels.com website. If you state that there is AC you would expect to be able to use it when we needed. The only positive thing out of the hotel was that the ladies in the breakfast area were quite friendly, as was the cleaning crew. The staff did change our room for the second night, when they determined that the AC was not functioning at all between 1PM and midnight. However, we still had to deal with no AC from midnight until we checked out, sweating through the night, loud traffic noise from keeping the windows open (plus the safety concern w/ our child). We could not sleep at all. Also, the hotel is in need of uprating.

My wife and I booked 5 nights at the "Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme" in Cagliari and we were aware the booking was non refundable. Unfortunately my dad passed away and we had to travel abroad for the arrangements and the funeral. I contacted the hotel, a week before the check-in date and asked if due to the circumstances they could offer a refund or at least to amend the booking for a future dates. The hotel reply was prompt and without any sympathy was: "the booking is non refundable".They did not even spend a thought about it. I then contacted Hotels.com, as I have booked the hotel thru then. The first thing they did was offer their condolences and sympathy and promptly told me that they would phone the hotel immediately and try to convince thelem to be more flexible. Again the "Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme" refused even to consider any amendments. So my feedback for Hotels.com is 5 stars for their effort and consideration. My feedback for the Hotel is based only on my experience in dealing with then and not on the premises and staff etc... And therefore For the Hotel Residence Ulivi e Palme my Feedback"Zero" Stars for the lack of consideration and flexibility, as an amendment would have meant both parts would not loose anything, but as it stands, only we have lost. It shows the lack of sensibility and how poor is the management. The Hotel may disagree as it's their right, but this will not change in anything my feelings about it. Anyway, although this is not pocket money

Property far from town if you don’t have a car, it’s run down and old, there’s really nothing around this area but plenty of parking if you have a rental car

First given room was so smelling of tobacco I couldn t stay 2 minutes in it so I was forced to ask for another. 2nd room A/C not working we had to open the windows and the noise from highway was so terrible we could not sleep at night. Hotel is also in old building and is Not all renovated, lots of rooms are super old and they are not conforming with photos shown on here.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. The Up restaurant turned out to be excellent, we wonder why so few patrons appear to be utilizing. Breakfast is outstanding and the personnel truly wonderful.

I only stayed 1 night, arriving when it was already dark and leaving early morning. The location seemed somewhat off-centre, but down the road there was free street parking available. It looked some works were going on at the property. The room and bathroom felt a bit old-fashioned but covered the basics and were clean. The breakfast was ok, if not too many options - cold buffet where you could pick but the staff had to serve the food. Overall no complaints and it did the trick for me though no deeper insights due to shortness of my stay.

Our experience in this hotel is overall great, the rooms are very clean, breakfast is excellent with great service, and helpful personal. The only thing that I didn't like so much, was that the room was a bit outdated. But the bed was great, we slept very good. The rest of the hotel looked renovated.

Just outside main part of town but easily accessible by bus which ran frequently even on weekends. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Like the location, cleanliness of room and common area and the friendliness of staff.

We really enjoyed staying in the hotel. Fully recommended
