Hotel San Paolo

While I did not have a mainly negative experience, I found there to be a couple of issues that impacted on my stay. The facilities from what I experienced would make the hotel more of a 3 star than 4, I found the interior to be a little tired. The lack of immediate easy public transport meant several long walks to the train station which is 30 min walk away including twice with luggage which was not fun in mid 20 degree weather. Otherwise I found the staff to be helpful and there to be a good selection available for the breakfast and If you would like to be near the Napoli football stadium the location is pretty perfect

Nice room, and view (except during rainstorm!). Hot tub was lovely, but surrounds very slippery (be careful!) Restaurant not open, which was a shame, but breakfast pretty good choice. Local area a bit downbeat...

the transportation is very hard

The hotel is within walking distance from the Maradona Stadium home of the SSCNapoli, and other amenities. Convenient place to stay.

Liked the option buffet breakfast although items weren’t always replaced. In room if you wanted to use Jacuzzi or Air Con you had to ask at reception or would not work. Jacuzzi bath warm first night, but second and third wafer trickled out and was only lukewarm. Although connected to Wi-Fi took day and half to get internet. Once all working it was fine. Shower door bit loose. Toiletries good.

Staff is nice, parking space is safe and convenient. My issue was the smell of cleaning products in my room. It was so intense I could not think or sleep. I still shudder now remembering that smell (very scented – not sure how to describe it, maybe like a strong unpleasant perfume)

Not a 4 star, not a 3 star, at best a 2 star. Rooms small and everything old. Shops far away, and the so called swimming pool is a public swimming pool also a long walk away that you have to pay. The so called gym is a public gym also long walk away. Fast wifi, the only good thing. Do not trust the photos on there website.

room stinks early morning from some nasty cooking

I would not stay here again. staff were rude and the food was rubbish. breakfast was questionable, if you got there at 7am you might get the full selection of all of the 4 items on offer, but staff were lazy and did not replensih bread, ham etc....the evening meal was awful and extremely expensive. worst hotel food ever. location to mostra is the only thing going for this hotel. dont forget the naples tax you have to pay on your bill!

The hotel itself is pretty nice inside. My (single) room had aircon, tv, a clean bathroom with shower. Wireless was weak but usable in my room, strong in the hall. On the minus side, the room was extremely tiny, just about 1m around two sides of the bed was the available space; and it had a tiny window on somebody else's noisy balcony. There's also a cage with 7 parrotts in the main hall, and they are extremely noisy at any time of the day and the night. The man at the desk (possibly the owner) did not refrain to smoke even when I was in front of him (in Italy it is forbidden to smoke in public places). The breakfast is continental and quite rich. The location of the hotel was very convenient for me as it is about 15 mins walking from Mostra D'Oltremare, but then that's it: if you want to go anywhere else, you have to spend 10-20 euros on a taxi. There is not really much around.

Hotel de muy baja calidad. Instalaciones de un 2-3 estrellas. Ruidos y olores. Personal correcto. Desayuno aceptable.

O lugar é situado em um beco, de 4 estrelas, no meu país seria meia estrela...o lugar ate passou por uma reforma, mas nao emplacou....os funcionários com mau humor constante... pra nunca mais !!

Trovo immeritata la classificazione 4 stelle dell'hotel, che tutt'al più ne meriterebbe 3.

Génial avec un jacuzzi dans la chambre. Par contre pas de restaurant dans l'hotel!
