Lovely hotel perfectly placed for access to Taormina without the hassle of being there. Claudia in reception is a star

Villa Daphne was excellent with very helpful staff who all spoke good English. However, no tea/coffee making facilities in room so we took our own travel kettle and tea bags! Choice at breakfast good, but not the best we’ve had. Handy if you don’t want to hire a car, as only a matter of yards from the Recanati bus terminal, with connections to Taormina and beyond as well as the airport bus.

A great hotel, overseen by a manager who looks for perfection and gets it. An excellent breakfast Whilst our room faced on to the mainish road the double glazing and shutters cut out all the noise.

Endroit tranquille. Impeccable. Bon restaurant, menu à la carte pour le souper. Le personnel très accueillant et professionnel.

What an amazing hotel. Literally can't fault this place. It's everything you can ask for when looking for somewhere to stay. Probably our favourite hotel I've stayed in. There are two free parking spaces outside the hotel but you have to be lucky to get them which fortunately we were lucky every time to get one. Rooms are spacious, lovely bathroom. Very clean and also gets cleaned daily. There's a mini fridge with refreshments, (with a charge obviously) but it's reasonable. We had a street facing room with a balcony, but wasn't noisy at all. Breakfast was nice with a wide range of choices. And the pool area is nice and clean, although we didn't use the pool as we're beach people. You can sit outside too whenever if you want to have a drink during the day or evening and the bar also does food as well as drink. The beach is not far at all, within walking distance of the hotel, maybe a 10-15 min walk and there are bars and restaurants along the way as well as small a supermarket too. The bus stop is a 10 second walk from the hotel, which is very easy to get the bus to Taormina and back, or wherever you'd like to go. The staff are lovely and helpful, but I want to say a big thank you to Claudia on reception. What a genuine, lovely lady. Always smiling, always willing to help you and have a chat and give you advice and recommendations. Anything you need, ask Claudia, she is superb. Our stay was absolutely perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for getting around.

Perfect location near bus stop for transportation to Taormina. Parking was secure. Staff was wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast included an extensive variety to choose from and included superb service; Nino made it especially fun. Cleanliness and service were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Daphne. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t have done more for us. Special mention goes to Claudia on Reception, she really is a Ray of sunshine. We only had B&B so I can’t comment on meals apart from breakfast which was excellent. A really nice hot and cold buffet. Will definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant stay, hotel room was a bit dated. Wonderful staff at this hotel from the warm welcome from the young lady on reception who had a brilliant smile to the waiters at dinner time. Will definitely use this hotel again.

An older property but well maintained. Not in Taornina but the bus stop is right out front and runs every 15 minutes.

One of the best small hotels that I have stayed at. The location was excellent, bus stop down the road to take you into Taormina and only a 15 min walk to local shops and restaurants. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly and made our stay so very enjoyable. Hotel was spotless and breakfast good and plentiful. Would love to do a return visit. Thank you to all of the fantastic hardworking staff.

Hotel Daphne appeal is its small size. This allows the staff to be more personal. The receptionist Claudia was very helpful and welcoming. One minor improvement for me would be bottles of water in the bedroom and tea/coffee making facility.

Large spacious room, very pretty pool area, excellent breakfast included. Easy walk to bus station which we used a lot to go to Taormina & Isola Bella. The busses do not run as frequently as they say they do. Just be aware. Front desk staff was so nice.

Hotel villa Daphne was such a pleasant surprise. One employee was nicer than the other. Lovely team, ideal location, nice room. Great breakfast. Location is easy walk to beach or a 1/2 block to bus to Taormina. Would highly recommend and would definitely return Thank you Hotel Villa Daphne!

We have just returned from a 9 night stay and highly recommend Villa Daphne Hotel. We really enjoyed the breakfast and delicious pastries, relaxing and peaceful days by the pool and dinner at the hotel the last two nights. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are a huge asset, with special thanks to Claudia, Azzura and Vincentzo. The bus stop is 1 min walk from the hotel which is really handy for the airport (€5.90pp). You can also catch the bus to Taormina (€3 return pp) but we found it a bit unreliable. You need an FFP2 mask on the buses.

The reception, comfort, cleanliness , location exceptional Highly recommended

Check in was friendly and professional. A cold welcome drink would have been nice. Room was ground floor quiet Wooden furniture needs revarnish. And more Dusting. Breakfast was ample and the staff members did their best. More choice needed for international travellers. Pool was clean and pleasant to be around. Special thanks to Claudia, lorenzo and eugenio and the lady at breakfast Who all made me feel safe and clean during Coivd times
