Beautiful place. Could not recommend more for a dream holiday.

Comfortable hotel if not 5 star - maybe 4 star? Staff very friendly and helpful. Great beach. Good for a beach type holiday but a bit isolated so choice of dining is limited.

We stayed in the Villa Ottone in September 2020. It is a charming place with gorgeous sunsets and a nice private beach. Would love to come back again

Mail service at the restaurant was rushed and impersonal. It definitely appears that there were two levels of service provided, one much more attentive if you had a villa and much less so if you have a regular room. This was disappointing and quite noticeable. Otherwise our stay was very good

The island and hotel were lovely. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the amenities were great. The bar, the beach, and the restaurant were all fantastic. Will come back!

Property grounds / pool / beach was excellent. Atmosphere very very nice. Rooms for the villas were small and overall quite expensive for what you got. Beds were hard and not very comfortable for sleeping. Food quality was excellent. Overall a great choice but as a travel agency owner, I felt a little over priced.

We had a short city break to Tuscany and took the ferry to Elba to stay at Hotel Villa Ottone for two nights. We WISH we stayed longer! We will definitely be back. We were travelling by car and the car park is on the property with plenty of room for cars (even when a wedding reception was being held. We were early for check in but this wasn't a problem as our room was ready. We were taken to our room by golf buggy. We stayed in one of the cottages which was basic but clean and had everything we needed. We even had a small view of the sea from our terrace! The whole property and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The beach is just down some steps and the sea is clear and calm and great for snorkelling, just remember to bring some sea shoes and the beach is pebbles and stones instead of sand. We didn't eat at the restaurant but we did have lunch at the cafe on the beach front and the food was delicious. All members of staff were polite and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. We will definitely be back, but next time for a longer stay!

The position of the hotel is incredible, the views from the beach and the sunsets are really the main selling points. Rooms are clean but very dated, we stayed in the classic rooms and maybe that’s why but they’re a bit stuck in the 80s. The staff are very attentive and polite, but not overly friendly, dinner is incredibly formal! The food is amazing but dinner is at least €120 for two people, it’d be nice to have a less formal choice available. I think the hotel is suited to an older clientele, it’s great for a quiet few days but it’s not a very relaxed environment.

Wonderful location; service a little dated. Some modernisation and this would be a world class hotel.

Very rude staff, couldn't not even get a drink or anything to out for certain times during the day. Over priced. Poor room conditions.
