Absolutely fantastic stay in Florence at the Vill Sull'Arno. Located in a beautiful spot on the river and a lovely 20 minute walk into central Florence. Staff were so welcoming and we couldn't have asked them for anymore. Food was excellent at breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful hotel facilities along with bonus free bus to the centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you are staying with children Avoid ground floor rooms facing the river as the club across the way is quite loud till around 1.30am.

The check-in staff were nicely cordial, informative about hotel and surrounding area. Our room/suite was real nice, kept clean, stocked with water, coffee and clean towels. In addition we never saw the cleaning staff. The pool, lounge and dining areas were okay, but a little tight for space. I believe they did the best they could with the space they had. Breakfast buffet food quality was okay, but limited for the cost. I found the dining menu having the same issue as breakfast. Overall I liked Ville sull’Arno, safe area, we were able to walk back from our excursions which was about 2 km walk. Cheers.

Everything was what we hoped for! The staff was so above and beyond and the restaurant was delicious. They always called a taxi for us, the room was very modern and had charger ports in walls, plenty of towels, everything you could hope for it did We explored Florence and Tuscany while here and weren’t able to take advantage of the spa amenities so we can’t comment on that.

Nice property. Decent room, but pay attention to room choice. My room, a suite, only had one small window overlooking the river. Some of the staff members are fantastic and others not. While marketed as a 5 star hotel, it is a mid 4 star hotel. While it has parking, it can only accommodate a few cars and street parking is rough. I had some day trips to do so parking for a rental was important. Otherwise I would have stayed in town center.
