A very tranquil setting in the mountains of Isernia. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom fixtures were all in good condition. Unfortunately the design of the shower doors in my room did not allow access to the shower. Whilst most hotel bathrooms in Italy are tight the doors should allow access to wash your body.

We were there 2 nights with a toilet that took half hour to reload with water. I told the front desk when we arrived but they did nothing about it. Outdated old smelly hotel.

Habe dieses Hotel wegen des Schwimmbades gebucht! Als wir ankamen wurde uns gesagt: das Pool sei nur Zierde! Ich finde es unfair dass das nicht auf der Seite dieses Hotels nicht spezifiziert wird! Für nur das blosse Schlafen hätte auch einen günstigeren/3Stern buchen können! Das sind reine Attrappen! Sollte man einen anderen Preis bezahlen deshalb schlag ich vor mir eine Offerte zu machen oder einen Teil zu rückerstatten! Vielen Dank Mohler P.

Everything was great!! Only advice to management is to change the carpeting, it's worn & should be freshened up. Otherwise we will definitely return to the hotel when visiting family in that region of Italy. Breakfast was delicious & staff amazing:)

We enjoyed our stay at La Fonte dell'Astore. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, attending to our every need. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the rooms clean and spacious. Breakfast was great with many options not offered at other hotels in the area. In addition the hotel restaurant was also delicious. the rooms were air conditioned and wifi worked well. We will be back soon!!

The staff managed to make my stay comfortable even though I do speak Italian. Nicco in particular was nice enough to pour drinks and let me bend his ear. I would strongly recommend this establishment

Big (for Italy) clean rooms and friendly/helpful staff. Very easy to find and easy access, right off the SS17 (Benevento-Isernia). Stayed for 4 nights, including a weekend. It was July so there were lots of weddings and fireworks but the noise levels were tolerable (only really noticed the fireworks). Ask for a quiet room if you're worried about it. We were on the side opposite the patio/party area and it was fine. Great breakfast selection and for dinners the restaurant has a great menu with daily specials. No trouble finding parking, even during weekend. The rate we paid for four nights would barely have paid for one night at a similar hotel in Naples or Rome - VERY reasonable! The Santuario is walking distance and should be seen while you're there. We will be back to continue our explorations of beautiful Molise!

Hi , I booked with expedia.ca & called 1800 to speak with an agent & had many questions before I booked , the one question that stuck to mind was , is the Hotel equipped with the pool that I see on line ? she quoted yes , when I arrived @ Hotel & in home town with my nice , Went to check-in & the first thing I discovered the pool is not included & I said What ? that was the reason I booked there because there not much to do. They said it would cost me 35.00 Euro per day per person & being a weekend it was 45.00 euro . The pool belonged to the Spa side by side. Was not happy , out of 5 days stay I only booked 2 days of the pool spa & paid 25.00 euro per person per day , the Hotel staff was trying to accommodate us the best they could with a lower rate , so ! will I book with Expedia again , NO
