This a fantastic 13th century former castle near the airport (5 mins) reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic and one has just said taxi's are too expensive and is going to take us to the airport. That is real excellent service

Very nice, but it's a long haul to carry luggage from car to reception over gravel. Wheels are of no use. Also, if you have booked the Annex, leave your luggage in the car or you will have to haul them from the reception back to the car; you must drive to the Annex--not convenient. But it is a lovely property close to San Gimignani.

The guy that came to the airport to pick us up was very good. The pick up was easily arranged with a very short wait. The hotel building was very impressive, the restaurant was good with good service. My only concern related to the quality of the shower, very poor condition that made it difficult to clean.

We checked in at 12 they where very helpfull.we had to leave at 6 30 so they served the breakfast earlier at 6 instead of 7.The Breakfast is generous with hot croissants and cheese ham juses milk ....I strongly recommend this hotel if you are exploring the area and you have a car.

We've been in that hotel in the early 90 and we come back always with pleasure in that establishment. It is juste at the foot of Assisi hill near by the Portioncule. For Saint François 's lovers.

Hotel would have been perfect except for very loud church bells next door. They ended at 10 PM but started up at 7 AM--not conducive to sleeping in.
