Great place, large and comfortable rooms, great service. Best location in Central Rome. The Continental Breakfast included is disappointing compared with other hotels of this category. It is annoying having to pay extra 10 Euro for 1 egg!! Or a little less for some vegetables

The property is very unique -room was gorgeous with beautiful high decorative ceilings but miserably hot ( I specifically chose a hotel with a/c!), I went to the desk twice- once at 5pm and then after we returned at 11:00. I was assured that they "turned it on" and that it would cool off. The next morning, after having to sleep with wet towels to keep us cool, I went to the Front desk for the third time and she told me she could see that my room was 24°C, and that the air was not working.... she graciously moved us to a new room which she showed me was the same as the one we had (it was not, but it was also nice ) and our second night was good. Breakfast was lackluster- the pastries were stale and clearly store-bought The bartender Manuel was the highlight of our trip- he is a true artist when it comes to cocktails, creating two different craft lbelbda for each of us ( one for an apertivo that was so good we went back for a nightcap! Upon checkout, I asked them for a discount in the rate for just the first since there was no AC and they told me that they upgraded me when we switched rooms so they couldn't (wouldn't) offer a discount. I did not ask for upgrade and the room was exactly the same size, but a different configuration with no extra amenities. ( not even free water!) Overall, the staff was very good and helpful and the rooms big and beautiful, but claiming they upgraded my room as a reason for not discounting a miserable night left a bad taste.

Martius is a beautiful, intimate, well-run hotel located in a central but not overwhelming part of Rome. The suite was a gorgeous juxtaposition of the ancient ceiling/nod to the building's roots, combined with modern Italian design and amenities. The room was kept immaculate despite an abundance of luggage from a 3-week journey. The staff were absolutely exceptional. They directed us to excellent eateries, procured transportation for us that included a 3 am pickup for our flight home, and even got us an appointment with an ENT specialist when I had an earache. Martius will continue to be our choice for when we are in Rome.

Fantastic location, extremely near the Pantheon and many attractions, restaurants, Gelateria. Very quiet at night but only 1-2 blocks from lively nightlife. The literal ONLY less than stellar comment is that the elevator is tiny and a bit bouncy but otherwise a great choice for a stay. The included continental breakfast is ample and delicious. You won’t regret staying at this gem.

We absolutely loved our stay at Martius Private Suites. Our room was beautiful, the location was perfect, and so many landmarks and wonderful restaurants were just a short walk away. The staff were amazing, especially Luigi and Manuel at the bar—Manuel is truly a wizard when it comes to creating refreshing cocktails! 🍹✨ We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend!

We booked a deluxe suite and the room has a very strange smell coming from the bathroom. We asked to be switched to a different room and they provided one the following day. Overall it was a good hotel, very central, the bed was comfortable, but the water temperature in the shower was hit or miss. The staff accommodated us the best they could, so 10/10 in customer service.

The place you come home to when on vacation, especially in such a bustling city as Rome, is just as important as the sites you’ll visit, and our Martius Private Suites Presidential Spa Suite sealed the deal on what was one of our BEST trips EVER! An incredible value for the money, with each morning’s breakfast service in the beautiful dining room (that doubles as a bar at night) being impeccably served. This hotel was small enough that the staff remembered our names, and so never had to wait for a table at breakfast or dinner. And nothing quite like a private sauna steam session in our suite after 25,000 steps in the Eternal City! Their friendly staff was uber- accommodating. They gave us the BEST dining recommendations and helped us score hard-to-get excursions and hidden Roman gems! Just 5 minute walk to The Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Would we stay here again? I don’t think we would ever stay anywhere else when in Rome-thank you for making a special birthday trip-unforgettable, especially for tough customers like us!
