Hotel was comfortable. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Restaurant in hotel was clean. The shower in the bathroom was a little dirty.
We were able to park down the street for additional €15 per day. Walking distance to the beach, shops, and many restaurants.

Really nice hotel. Centrally located and easy to get around. The bed was a bit hard but with the extra blanket I added a pad to make it softer. Great breakfast and really nice staff.

Stayed for a week in Rimini and chose the National Hotel just by luck. All staff at the hotel are very nice, good breakfast (didnt try lunchor dinner). Definately reccomend this hotel.
It is in a really good spot so many lovely cafe's and restaurants, try the smaller places they are so much more personal than the larger restaurants (they are still also very good)
The only thing I would say needs to be explained is that the hotel is across the road from the beach and you have to pay daily for a sunbed! I think some packages have this included but I was surprised to be expteced to pay and extra 15-20 Euro a day for a sunbed. The city tax is also 3 euro per person, per day.
The hotel has a nice pool, not massive and can get busy.

Very nice hotel situated right in beachfront. Very welcoming reception staff. Nice comfortable room. Slight disappointment was breakfast. Both mornings very little fresh hot food or fruit salad & limited choices of bread which didn’t feel overly fresh

My little brother and I last minute decided to go to Rimini between Stops in Rome and Venice, so we booked the National Hotel very last minute and through a budget hotel website. After experiencing some iffy hotels in Florence and Milan, we were PLEASANTLY impressed. We arrived and the front staff, who was incredibly friendly, was able to move us from our economy room to an ocean front view on the 5th floor! What an upgrade and for no fee! The downstairs of the hotel is typical Italian marble fare, but the rooms are SUPER modern. Lots of glass, windows, and light! The room was immaculately clean and very accommodating. The bathroom was beautiful. But the best part is the balcony. First off, if you like to sleep in and was a dark cave at night/early morning there are full hurricane shutters to block out ever ounce of light, but if you really enjoy a 24/7 view, the large glass window to the balcony doesn’t disappoint! The best was comfortable and the location was excellent in terms of walking to restaurants and access to the beach boardwalk. Now the hotel does not give you direct access to chairs/umbrellas on the beach, but that isn’t an issue as the breakfast was included and diverse. The downstairs bar makes a killer hot chocolate and the staff was very careful with storing our bags after we had checked out while we were on the beach! This was such a great experience I highly recommend this hotel!

Booked 2 rooms for the Gelato trade fair in Rimini. Hotel entrance and common areas looked excellent. HOWEVER, the room (even though sea-facing) was probably the smallest hotel room possible outside Japan! The room was barely enough for 1 single bed. Living space about 10 square meters with a 4 square meter balcony. The bathroom was ridiculously small and cramped. The shower was only 80cm x 80cm - if you drop the soap bar you cannot bend down to pick it up! Toilet seat was loose and unfortunately wasn't fixed despite my request at the front desk. The positives: excellent well kept common areas, excellent breakfast with view of the beach, and excellent service.

Hotel was great in every way - location was very central yet looked over the beach. Service was excellent with a fantastic breakfast in lovely surroundings. Rooms were very comfortable and kept really clean.
Only small downsides were the lack of tea making facilities in the room and the pool was a little small.
Would certainly use this hotel again.

Excellent and personable experience. With professional staff who excel to provide good service. Beach location good with good facilities like sunbed, showers, beach tennis etc. Breakfast buffet excellent high quality. Waiteress on last day remembered I liked Watermelon and saved it for me. Restaurant Mtg came over to wish me a Happy Birthday and shake my hand. WOW Factor. Room service excellent always left 3 towel sets important as we were a family of 3 .Bike hire free. Great for kids.
