The location is in the heart of the city . This palace is beautiful, our room was spacious, staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the roof top patio provided amazing views. Highly recommend

Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of magnificent! From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs! The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional every moment of our stay. The location is outstanding, the views amazing and the rooftop terrace was something right out of a dream. Our room offered every luxurious convenience while also exuding the elegance and history of this magnificent hotel. It sits at the highest spot in Matera so every window offers a million dollar view. I wish we had stayed longer and I will never forget the magical experience Matera gave us.

We had a fabulous time at Palazzo Viceconte. The views from the room and from the roof terrace are simply stunning, and the staff were very welcoming and generous. We got engaged while we were there and they even gave us a free bottle of Prosecco! We will definitely be back.

A real palazzo right next to the Duomo & restaurants. Senore Viseconte was present & allowed guests access to his private home & art gallery. Matera is really a special place. Thanks 007!

Stayed here for one night. Staff were excellent and really helpful. One actually walked 10min with me to my car just so he could direct me back to the hotel car park. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amazing views. They also have a nice terrace with a bar.

The palace is incredible and has kept the original ceiling painting and furnishings seem totally authentic. There is endless space to enjoy around the palace. Breakfast was ok our first day but very poor the second. No cheese, no bacon, when we arrived 45 minutes after opening. Ice cold scrambled eggs like they had come out of a fridge. Terrace bar was fabulous, good drinks and snack and view

We have travelled the world and this is the most spectacular and gracious welcoming hotel and staff and owners we have ever experienced! It is a true palace with authentically furnished common areas authentically furniture and original pieces of art galore! Breakfast was excellent and the roof terrace overlooks the sass is of Matera.
