Portrait Roma - Lungarno Collection

Second time here. We really enjoyed our first trip last year, and this year things were even better. Everything was perfect, from the rooftop to the tea service every evening.

Absolutely the best location, staff, and most comfortable hotel. It is small, chic, and quiet. The roof top was lovely for breakfast and relaxing with a drink. I will always stay at a Portrait hotel when I travel. I can not thank the staff enough for a wonderful stay in Rome.

Beautiful property, amazing staff & service.

There are no words to describe how exceptional our experience was at this hotel. It was unquestionably beautiful but where they stand out is in all of the touches to make you feel pampered. Overall it's a small location, owned by Ferragamo, but it's in the middle of the prettiest parts of Rome surrounded by exceptional shopping. The team is committed to making everything you need or want accessible. If you are going to Rome THIS is where you want to stay.

You won't find a better hotel in Rome than Portrait Roma! The staff is exceptional, the location ideal and the view from the rooftop deck, where the excellent breakfast is served, is stunning. In the evening street music - violins and opera arias - float up to the deck as the sun sets on the lovely Trinità dei Monti that sits above the Spanish Steps. Unfortunately, there are only two rooms with view balconies, but even a room with a not-so-great outlook is made up by the cruise-ship ambiance of every whim being catered to by a willing, cheerful and capable staff! I could continue indefinitely describing our terrific experience here, but I'll close with: when you're in Rome, pamper yourself and stay at the Portrait Roma!

Amazing hotel that definitely earns its spot in the top hotels of the world. The service was impeccable in the small little details the differentiated them made this the best hotel of our entire European trip.

The location of this lovely small boutique hotel on the Via Condotti was amazing! We were upgraded to a spacious room with all the amenities-loved the choice of pillows and the open closet (and of course the towel warmer). The service was personable and friendly and we felt as if we were coming home each time we returned to the hotel. Will definitely come back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The patio is a gem. Pre and post dinner drinks there are a must. You get an almost 360 degree view of Rome and you get to enjoy the Spanish steps without the crowds.

One of the best best hotel experiences start to finish! I can't say enough wonderful things about Portrait Roma. We were in Italy for our anniversary and stayed 2 nights in Roma. While in Florence we had drinks at the beautiful Portrait Florence and we decided that's where we would like to stay in Rome. Even before our arrival they were busy taking care of us. They sent us a questionnaire asking our preferences from what kind of pillows we like, to what our favorite fruits and cocktails are. Check in was a breeze and when we were taken to our room we were welcomed with a lot of the favorite we had provided them. It was magical! The room was pure luxury. The bed - heavenly. The bathroom had a wonderful tub and separate shower.....perfect for relaxing after a long day of seeing the sites. Our Balcony - just glorious with a perfect view of the Spanish Steps. One of our favorite services the hotel provided was the use of a smart phone white we were out seeing the sites. We were able to text the hotel for recommendations while we were out and about. They always gave us the best recommendations by the way! There was also navigation that you can link to your google maps - so everything we tagged was there on the hotel provided phone! Also, the location is THE BEST - there's no better location in Rome. All in all Portrait Roma you are top notch when it comes to all things hospitality. We cannot wait to return and stay with you again. Thank you so much for everything.

Delightful hotel with amazing staff. The rooftop was the perfect place to eat breakfast, relax before dinner, or enjoy a late night glass of wine. So many high end, thoughtful touches, including full size his & hers fragrances as a parting gift. The concierge arranged the perfect dinner for us and also assisted in obtain four tickets for the coliseum. Recommend 100%-it was worth the splurge!
