If you want to experience Sardinian luxury, this is the place for you. The hotel is set in manicures grounds with a beautiful pool and features that set it apart from any other hotel we have stayed in on our trip. The hotel itself is slightly out the way with very little to see or do in Guispini; however, we were after two nights peace and this really is a retreat. On arrival, the gentleman who welcomed us was professional and could not do enough for us - we were upgraded to the junior suite and shown to our room. The suite itself was immaculate in white with a large bathroom and four poster bed - the comfiest night sleep I’ve had in a long time! Breakfast was served in a room surrounded by water features looking out at the grounds with a variety of options to cater everyone’s needs. Overall a fantastic little gem hidden in the Sardinian countryside.

Modern Sardinian comfort in the the country...surprising! Great stopover hotel for the area, especially if you plan to wine taste or explore the local area. Extremely clean hotel with modern amenities including fast Wi-Fi and AC/Heat. Beautiful rooms as well!

We spent in this hotel 9 days and it was the best holiday ever. The hotel is very unique and the staff is so kind, especially Isabella and Sorin at the reception. The pool and the rooms are beautiful. The only problem was the breakfast, it was a bit poorly for us, because we not used to eat sweet food (cake, muffin) in the morning. But we will come back for sure!

Classic room was reasonable size and bed comfortable. Had to change from first room due to treatment odour that was extremely strong. Bathrooms are very good but you will likely spend most time by the pool, which is the best feature of the site. Staff are friendly and breakfast good, with nice setting. Stayed one night and spent most of the time outdoors.

I always stay at Tarthesh, it’s a unique hotel and the only place worth staying SW Sardinia with easy access to the beaches of Costa verde, but equally good for connecting to the SE131 motorway and easy access to the district city of Oristano.

Nicely placed for touring the surrounding area. The staff were excellent but the hotel itself seems to suffer from trying to be a higher class than it is (but it is actually just a very nice hotel).

The hotel is very nice, the place is clean and the staff are very helpful. The pool area is brilliant and gives plenty of space for everyone. The only thing that lets it down is that there is nothing locally to the hotel. The closest resturant is a 5-10min drive and there really isn't anything else to do within 45 mins of the hotel

We stayed here for our honeymoon...we were very disappointed- so much so that we left a day early a wasted a nights accommodation to go somewhere better. The advertised pictures are VERY well done/enhanced. If you are after somewhere with poolside bar service or any type of atmosphere- this is not the place for you. Nor is it close or convenience to access any beaches

Myself and my partner have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Tarthes Hotel in Guspini. I'm familiar with the area and wanted easy access to the costa verde and the iglesiente and this hotel is definitely one of the best. We stayed in a suite and the simplicity of the room was tasteful and pleasing. Small things like a welcome pack, numbers to call, a kettle, details of room service etc we're missing but in the scheme of things this was our only small complaint about the hotel. The grounds are stunning, the pool is elegant and looked as if you were actually on the beach. Staff were courteous and helpful, and spoke fluent English. The spread for breakfast was varied and of high quality, it was predominantly sweet based but the cakes and crostata (jam tarts) were divine. We also ate at the restaurant one night; the menu was devine and it was extremely hard to pick something out as you truly wish to try everything! our waiter was knowledgeable and very polite. They had run out of my favourite Sardinian dessert but much to my surprise he returned to inform me that they had managed to find a couple more sebadas for us! The waiting staff and ladies on reception were brilliant. I would definitely return to this hotel!

Despite an inauspicious start, we had a good time at Tarthes Hotels. It's a very peaceful place, with a small force of wonderful staff who are a credit to the hotel. There are definitely areas for improvement which would make a difference... A lick of paint on the exteriors, and wifi around the hotel would be good. There were barely any staff for the week, which meant service was slow, bars etc were not manned, and things like breakfast often had little food/drink left because there was no one to monitor it. Guispini itself is very underwhelming, with very little to do in the surrounding area - a car is absolutely essential.

This small hotel was a good point for exploring the SE coast and dune beaches. The rooms were in fine condition but ours had a shower door tha would allow water to pool in the bathroom. It was a little annoying but we didn't complain. There's a great pool and the on site restaurant was nice. Service was great. There's a grocery store next to the hotel as well.

What we wanted was a quiet, relaxing break and this hotel delivered just that. As a previous reviewer commented the location is puzzling, but apparently, the owner owned that piece of land and decided to build her dream there. We went mid July and expected it to be busy, however, it was really quiet (it was meantioned ferry prices from mainland Italy have increased dramatically; so that's impacted trade). As such, there were days when it was only us by the pool; made us feel like we were at private villa with personal staff on hand. My only constructive comments would be that the sound proofing between rooms wasn't the best, but wasn't so bad that it bothered us and the breakfast selection was slightly limited. However, that said, the hotel has been designed beautifully, the staff were fabulous and I left feeling truly refreshed and determined to leave feedback for the first time ever!

Peaceful surroundings, a perfect location to escape to. The staff were very helpful with all questions and recommendations on things to do. They also went above and beyond with little touches that mean a lot - "happy birthday" written in chocolate on my cappucino, honey and lemon drink for my sick girlfriend. Excellent drives in the surrounding countryside - something for everyone.
