This property has the most amazing views of the Ocean. The pool area is so unique how it is literally carved out of the side of the mountain. Loved the pool, great proximity to Taormina! Probably our favorite spot on our Italian vacation.

The views from everywhere in this hotel are undeniably beautiful. However, the rooms and general upkeep are mediocre at best. The food is absolutely horrendous and overpriced. At this price point, we expected much better. Would not recommend.

Has such potential but poorly run; staff don't explain shuttle until you learn the hard way (must be booked in the morning), gone all day and room not cleaned by 3pm, parking lot miscommunications, poor check-in. Service generally clumsy. But beautiful views, pool, and private beach.

Lovely hotel overall, and we were pleased to be given one of the newly renovated bedrooms on the second floor. The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, our room was interconnected, and this significantly affected our stay. We had the misfortune of very noisy neighbors returning in the early hours, and due to the connecting door, we could hear everything — conversations, showering, even toilet use. This made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep and was quite disappointing. Dinner at the main restaurant was acceptable: the service was excellent, but the food itself was fairly average and not particularly memorable. At check-out, we mentioned the issue about the noise and lack of sleep to the receptionist. While they thanked us for the feedback regarding the new rooms, nothing further was done to address our concerns, which was a bit disheartening. This hotel has great potential and could be a truly lovely place to stay. However, I would strongly recommend avoiding interconnected rooms unless you’re comfortable hearing your neighbors in detail.

Great hotel that exceed our expectations. Photos don’t do it justice. Amazing beach and pool area (White Lotus famous). Views from the room with private patio and from the restaurant at breakfast and dinner were to die for. With Etna looking there too was really cool. Great gym and underground parking too.

The room has a beautiful view of the ocean and Mount Etna. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and went the extra mile to help us. The swimming pool by the ocean is beautiful, though the water temperature in April was too cold to swim in. Buffet breakfast included a large variety of foods. The property seems a bit aged but we are 100% satisfied with the cleanliness of our room.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 star, but I simply can’t! The majority of the hotel is perfection and it was an absolute luxury having three days there… the pool itself is a wonder with the view to mount Etna, and so is the restaurant next door to the pool which overlooks the water. One issue was the rooms. We were give a nice room but the electricity didn’t work. An electrician came and after 20 mins of waiting, it was back on. But then it broke again the next day and we were once again waiting for an electrician to come for c.30 mins. This delayed our evening plans. They decided to move us to another room - but it was smaller! They the moved us again to one of their newly refurbished rooms which although really lovely, the air-con didn’t work. I gave up trying by that point as we had to leave anyway. The inside of the hotel is quite dated and when we arrived we really weren’t sure what we were in for, but the pool is the attraction and rightly so. Another reason why I can’t give 5 star is because of the shuttle buses. Although its great that the hotel provides free shuttle buses to and from the town, they are not frequent and book up really quickly. If you miss out, you need to pay for a taxi to the town which is around 20 euro one way. More shuttles are needed.

Absolutely perfect location: a private peninsula right by the sea, with its own beach and seawater pool — it couldn’t have been better. The ideal place to end the autumn season: swimming and reading under the sun. The hotel’s shuttle made getting to Taormina’s center quite convenient, but the best part was definitely our base here — a room with a stunning sea view. The staff were lovely and welcoming.

The location of the hotel having a private beach was great, even in the off season. The hotel itself was super clean, but a tad dated in decor, but the views make up for it and then some. Shuttle to Taormina was great, but often would get booked up. I spent way more on transportation during this trip. Hotel has taxis on hand, but a little pricey since it is not safe to walk on the roads (and considering you’re on a cliff).
