Easy enough to find, parking included and easy. Pool and ambience lovely, lots of plantings, pool chairs and relaxing. Breakfast attendant lovely and attentive and the food plentiful and varied. Room decor odd, to say the least, minimal wall outlets in this age of multiple electronics - one of which was hanging out of the wall. Desk Service: indifferent. Had to return to the desk to find basic information the concierge omitted - Wi-Fi code (nowhere in the room), how to open the property gate to come and go, where to find pool towels. When we asked for help with attractions we're told that not much happens on the weekend- "Welcome to Italy". Untrue - we had a great walking tour of the salt flats and a lovely afternoon on a boat tour of the Stagnone Lagoon and the island of Mozia. Restaurant recommendations were mainly bar and pizza. Marsala offers terrific food beyond that; we had a fantastic dinners, at La Vecchia and a very good wine bar

Please do not follow the location listed for this area. On Apple Maps look up “Villa Carlo resort” it shows “closed” not sure why but it’s the correct address . The one listed on the website takes you in the middle of no where please look it up yourself. When you arrive at gate call front desk they will open it for you. We went during ferregusto and they did not offer lunch ins but the breakfast is incredible and has everything you can think of and they can also cater in for you (room service) the pool was in excellent condition but this location is more in the suburbs of Marsala if your looking for a quiet retreat this is for you if not find a place in town square. Note: we booked two double beds but we were only two people so they will only give you one bed upon arrival. Bring your own towels for the pool the ones they provide are very thin however clean. Staff is very nice and super attentive. There is an open bar with some chips / beer/ water. And there is usually always a parking spot behind the gate to park cars. It is family owned and there is usually no staff past 8 pm so be sure to check in before that . Lovely stay thank you villa Carlo!

We are vey puzzled about our 3 nights stay at Villa Carlo.
The staff was very helpful and proactive. The minute we were getting to the breakfast restaurant, our cappuccino was prepared without us asking! This was the best breakfast amongst the 6 hotels we stayed at. A fantastic offering, so well presented, with an unbelievable number of choices for salty or sweet and fruits. The quality was well above standard. Even the cutlery and plates were fancy!
The problem is really with the bathroom. The shower was so moldy, disgusting. It is unacceptable to rent room is this state. The towels were clean, but no longer white and were rough like sandpaper!
The room is narrow, too small for a family. The beds were confortable, basic.
The pool was not vey clean either. The sides would have required a scrub!
The villa offers a dinner option wihch we were tempted to try considering how fantastic was the breakfast but we did not because we were disgusted by the filthy bathroom!

This is an exceptional resort, the standards and quality of the rooms, restaurant, pool, sun beds etc are all 4* plus. The restaurant only serves fish, which is fine for a couple of nights, we were staying 6 nights, so the chef changed the menu to include some meat dishes. The area is a bit run down, but this is an Oasis in the desert!
