Right by the Vaporeto station and the shopping street. Nice walk path to the Ferry, 25 mn walk. Vey clean. Wonderful breakfast included. And very tasty restaurant. Good beds but hard foldable beds with very flat pillows.

This is a well located and well run hotel. The breakfast room has a great view. The people are friendly and helpful. The rooms were a decent size and room servicing was very swift - everything cleaned and sorted whilst one has breakfast. A good stay.

This was probably the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in! I will break it down 4 in a bed style:
Hosts: Were phenomenal! Nothing was too much for them. Friendly and courteous, efficient, kind and caring and all round fantastic!
Facilities: we stayed in a suite, upgraded (for free!) to a lagoon view! It was perfectly equipped with everything you could need. The bathroom was beautiful, lovely shower, bidet, and plenty of toiletries and amenity kits. The lounge area was splendid, with a huge bed in the bedroom! There was a little kitchenette, which required an additional charge for use of the hob, but the kettle/hot drinks were free, as were the minibar!! The view out of the windows was gorgeous.
We were a minute or so’s walk from the bus(boat) terminal to the main island, and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The restaurant at the hotel wasn’t open for us as it was the low season, but we were directed to many lovely restaurants on the main strip of Lido!
Cleanliness: The entire place was spotless! Not a single bit of dirt, dust, hairs or anything out of the ordinary - it was exemplary!
Sleep quality: we both slept like logs! There was no noise disturbance from the street, and we weren’t kept up with any noise from the boats. The bed was very comfy, and we could manage the room temperature nicely.
Breakfast: A stand out of the trip! A huge selection! We had bacon and eggs, croissants, breads, dried and fresh fruit, more jams and condiments than you could count! Alongside there

While the option of staying at Venice is irrelevant (rental car holders), we liked Lido very much. It should be noted that the hotel offer car parking services where we could park our car during nights. Thank you for your service 🙏

I loved the vintage European decor in the room. I needed a vaporetto to get to the location. Restaurants and Panifico are located across the street. I really enjoyed the service, breakfast and the hotel itself.

The water taxi trip across the lagoon is rewarded by a hotel situated in a great location. Visited by many stars during the film festival, it retains an old world granduer which is highlighted by many pictures adorning the walls, of these stars, both old and new. We had the garden villa, which is spacious and affords terrific views back across the lagoon towards St Marks. The interior and exterior restaurants offer the very same view. We did not eat at the hotel, choosing central Venice instead, but the restaurant comes highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. There are some small areas where modernisation could be undertaken, but overall the property is charming. Take mosquito spray if using the garden or garden restaurant. Great base with easy access to Venice central. Recommended.

I booked a ground floor room with a garden. Prior to the 3 night stay I had stayed in a Eurocamp in the area to give the kids a bit of a beach holiday.
What was bad...
Room needed a little TLC, but I get it there is a 15 or so rooms in the hotel and putting one out of action to decorate is a revenue hit.
I saw some poor reviews about the food. In all fairness I have had better. But the choice is more than you would expect from a hotel of this size.
What was good
The staff were fantastic. The front desk helpful and helped us out when we arrived well before checkin. They looked after out kit in their office as the main storage area was packed. Took us through everthing we needed to know and more. They even packed us a breakfast as we checked out at 5.45am.
The location of the hotel.. superb. minutes walk away from the water bus. Which gave us easy access to venice and made it super easy to get a waterbus to the airport with the kids and bags.
The view from the room. Wow, straight across the lagoon into venice. You could not get a better one of the city. We drank it in every night whilst watching the sun set.
Would I go back, oh yes.
