The Hotel is one I have stayed in before and really enjoy staying at, the hotel remains of a very high standard with great links to be able to use the Lake Garda Ferry Services as well as visiting the town itself. At the moment during normal working hours the hotel is impacted by adjacent construction works particularly at the rear of the property. If you are using the hotel as a base to tour the area it is unlikely to impact your stay too much, but if you plan to enjoy the hotel grounds during the day it might not be that relaxing. I was disappointed that as far an opportunity wasn’t taken to inform me of this works before my stay. I do look forward to staying again once the adjacent works are completed.

Free beach access with lounge chairs was a great amenity. Sea view room looked right on the lake. Lots of options for free breakfast, restaurants delicious for dinner too. Great service.

Second stay at this lovely hotel and, as previously, it was excellent, staff were so helpful and friendly. It would have been nice to know in advance of the building work that was taking place next door as it could be quite noisy in the daytime when at the pool. However this did not spoil our holiday.

Overall hotel was clean, tidy. Staff friendly and very helpful. On arrival the initial room allocated was NOT as expected and NOT five star rating. We had upgraded the room prior to our stay. However, the room was fitted out for persons with limited mobility/disability. Also there was damage to walls, bed frame and carpet was marked, on initially entering the room there was an unpleasant smell. I did complain immediately was told it was a superior double room which, I disagreed with and showed the staff photos of a superior double on their website and hotel.com. On initially booking, months before, if informed no other room available we would have sort an alternative hotel. Staff agreed to check out room availability the next morning, thankfully we changed rooms the next day. The second room allocated was smaller but cleaner, tidier and a lot more pleasant. No goodwill gesture offered for initial disappointment If arriving by train it is very difficult to get a taxi, we eventually contacted the hotel to arrange transport, which they did, sending a private taxi which cost 15 euros. On leaving the hotel we shared a taxi with another family to train station believing fare would be split, this was not the case we were charged 15 euros and my understanding was the other family’s fare was charged to their room ?? It would be a good idea if hotel had its own shuttle bus even at a charge to the guest. Location of hotel excellent Area very clean and safe.

Very nice hotel in convenient location in Desenzano. Very comfortable, modern rooms. Nice bar/restaurant looking out across the lake. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, including good restaurant right in front, overlooking the water, which supports those with additional learning needs. Had a great meal there. Handy for ferries (we were out of season, ferry resumes in March). Easy to catch bus to Sirmione from the centre of Desenzano. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Only slight downside is walls felt on the thin side, could hear guests/staff in the hallway pretty clearly. But this wasnt a big issue and would definitely stay here again. I cant vouch for how crazy the resort gets in summer as I visited in February.
