Family holiday, we used the place for eating and sleeping.
Once we use the swimming pool that was OK.
Close to the "new" downtown of Grado (1 Km walk) and around 5 Km to old downtown. Possible to rent bikes 2€ per hour or 8€ per day

Villagio Ca'Laguna is located 10 min from Grado, a nice tourist town by the coast. Each apartment consists of a ground floor and a first floor with a separate bedroom, in townhouses. The small bathroom has a shower and the small kitchen has the very basic utensils. There is no dishwasher and no cleaning rags or detergent, that one has to buy somewhere in a supermarket. The air conditioning was very needed in the hot summer days. There is a big refrigerator and freezer. A small terrasse functions as the dining area. Great shades to allow good sleep. The pool area is rather big, one big pool is reserved mostly for children, is shallow and warmer than the other pool, that is deeper, colder and reserved for adults. The area is secluded, close to nature, but the walk to the best beach is best to do it by bike or car. The aparthotel is best to be reached by car. There is a washer and dryer near the pool area and costs 3EUR. The reception people are very helpful and hospitable. The area is great for short stays on the move between other locations in Italy but it also can be used as the base where to take tours to various areas within 1h such as the nearby Grado, a very nice town full of life in the evening, with great cafes and restaurants, and shops, the border city Trieste, the countries of Croatia and Slovenia, and a nice shopping center 30 min away at the highway. The area nearby the aparthotel has various camping home locations, and is filled with tourist families.

This "resort" is not somewhere you should go... alone, as a couple, or with your family. The photos are extremely misleading and must be very very old.
It is still advertised as having a beach but it does NOT. I will upload a photo of the swamp that is accessible from the hotel.
Our first room was COVERED in ants so we requested a new room which they did provide. They were not happy about doing so but did get us a new room.
The bed that pulls out to make it a "double" bed doesn't actually reach the same height.
A dirty old mop and bucket were stored in our shower.
There was slow wifi available only at the reception area.
This place is rundown and not worth the money you may save. Stay in Grado instead, close to the public beach!

We chose this location because it was on the beach and had a great pool. First day we went to the beach and were disappointed. Was not the picture on the website and was not swim able not could you walk on it. The rooms are very dated and I didn't feel clean or comfortable. The lighting was very poor.

the hotel was very nice, friendly staff, accessible everything for disabled guests only bad part is the beach is 700 meters from the hotel and it is not paved well and in some parts its grass and large stones. the beach is small, but not many go to the beach so it was seculed for us.

We got an upgrade to a bigger apartment and we really appreciated it. The apartment is well equipped for a vacation stay with dishes, pans etc. The swimming pool with water slides for children is really nice. Only the bathroom needed some fixing, we didn't ask because we stayed only two days.
