I booked a stay at Fun Holiday Beach Resort knowing it was an older, budget-friendly property, so I kept my expectations realistic. I wasn’t expecting a luxury resort, but I did expect basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort. Unfortunately, my experience was much worse than I anticipated. I booked two rooms, and both had multiple issues. One room had no towels upon arrival, and the toilet was dirty and heavily stained with rust. The bed sheets had holes in them, which was unacceptable. The rooms were poorly maintained overall. The lamp in my room couldn’t be used because the only electrical outlet was on the opposite side of the bed, and the cord wasn’t long enough to reach it. There were no telephones in the rooms and no Wi-Fi, making it inconvenient to contact the front desk or stay connected. The biggest concern was the condition of the room doors. Both rooms had large gaps around the doors that were big enough for insects and small lizards to enter the room. That made it difficult to feel comfortable during the stay. The resort’s online photos also make the property appear to be in much better condition than it actually is. They do not accurately represent the current state of the rooms. Номер, конечно, устаревший. Уборку не заказывали, но полотенца и бумагу с мылом приносили всегда. Кондиционер работал. Горячая вода не всегда была. Телевизор работал, интернет на территории и в номере работал. Огромный плюс это расположение! До пляжа идти полминуты. Шикарный пляж 7 миль, чистейшая тёплая вода. Народу почти нет. Бассейн не работал. Персонал услужливый, все просьбы выполнены. Рядом есть кафе с напитками и едой. Пляж чистят каждое утро. Удобная услуга трансфера от аэропорта до отеля. Также могут организовать экскурсии. Территория зелёная, множество птиц поют утром. Территория охраняется, посторонних людей нет. Спокойно оставляли вещи, ничего не пропадало. При отеле работает массажист. До самого Негрила ехать минут 10 от отеля. До аэропорта около часа. На пляже много водных развлечений- лодки, ватрушки, парашют, сапборд, снорклинг. Остались довольны отдыхом!

It was very nice

This resort has gone downhill. We have been there 8 times now and will never go back.

Terrible! We had no water daily for hours. Owner doesn’t have potable water even though it’s available. Pool was disgusting, green and smelled. Ran out of liquor by nine on some nights and never had ice. Ice machine broken and owner won’t replace so they had to buy bags from store, when they could. No drinking water available at times. Property very run down, bad boards in restaurant areas. Bad daily entertainment. They did have evening things, but wasn’t told about them so missed them. Garbage like broken chairs and junk piled up on the beach side. People on the beach call it the ghetto. Food wasn’t served for lunch some days till 4pm and dinners sometimes 9-9:30 pm.

I asked for a refund 20 minutes after the deadline because my aunt had passed away. The hotel denied my refund despite me having a full refund policy. These are BAD people!!

Hotel in need of serious upgrades

These guests contacted me to make a late reservation. Despite the platform allowing us to book later in the evening, when the guests got there they were unable to check in. This was due to the office being 'closed'. Guests did not stay at the hotel

This hoyel shpuld be called Fawlty Towers. 100 cockroaches on bathroom so you have to leave light on. The pool was not working. Food was expensive and disgusting. Never had change in till when paying. Dont book here even for one night. I stayed here on 3 different visits and its getting worse every time. The only good thing was the staff very helpful and kind. Otherwise avoid avoid avoid. I will never stay there again.

Stayed at this property 10 years ago was hoping to have the same probably better experience! It was horrible! No phones in the room, AC barely worked, mosquitoes the size of bats , 1 staff member was the house keeper maintenance person everything in one! We booked it for three days and ended up leaving after night one. The place was moldy and cats EVERYWHERE ! They need to revamp this place because this is not even a 1 star at this point.

Loved being right on the beach, with shaded lounge chairs to relax on. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

It is barely an all-inclusive. Breakfast and dinner time were too late. The reception desk especially in the morning is unattended. I left my wallet for a second there and was stolen. The cameras did not work. We lost the money and credit cards we had for the rest of my holidays. I returned with a sad memory.

We booked the hotel because it was cheap and on the seven miles beach. Our purpose for being in Jamaica was for business so we were out during the days and back late at night. However if we had booked the hotel as a holiday accommodation we would have been very disappointed. The rooms require upgrading as the furniture was old and had missing draws pictures old fashioned. There was not a fridge or kettle in the room. After asking they found a kettle for us with no cups no tea bags. We were told they do not provide fridges in rooms, we would have to rent one if we need one. We had no choice by to rent a fridge due to the hot climate we were in. They provide hand soap, but did not provide a soap dish to put the soap so it melted all over the top of the sink. I asked for a soap dish, I am yet to receive it. Soap was the only thing give i.e. no glasses, places to put tooth brush etc The shower was leaking and the bathroom floor was mainly wet all the time. Most of the towels we received were old. They are not generous with their towels. Overall our stay at the hotel was OK as we were out most of the time and tolerated our discomforts at the hotel. It is a good hotel for a stop over, but for a holiday accommodation this would not be my first choice

The property was a budget property not much inside of the rooms. If you’re seeking luxury this isn’t the place for you. However, the staff is very friendly with over all great hospitality.
