We had a great stay we met up with our friends there and between us had 3 children aged 4-9. The pool and beach were accessible and well staffed. The hotel was clean and comfortable and any issues that we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The food was nice and affordable and the breakfast wristband is good value.

This rating is for a small quiet family run hotel not an international resort. There is a definite Jamaican themed at the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The food in restaurant and I’d Jamaican themed but does not vary. Staff are friendly approachable and helpful. Entertainment is quite limited. I would not plan to stay longer than three or four days to avoid repetition

Been coming to this resort for many years.It's beautiful, it's clean, it's spacious.One of the things that stands out the most about this particular resort is the staff.The staff treats you like family you can't beat the customer service at this resort

Rooms are very modern and contemporary. The staff is amazing as usual.

Room 55 had two bedroom, two full bathroom (one tub), kitchen, full fridge, microwave, two burner stove, coffee maker, pots/pans, silverware, plates, cups, two balconies, and basic toiletries. This room was quiet and spacious. The bed was so hard!!!! That’s the only drawback. My husband slept on the sofa and I could only sleep on my back in the bed. A mattress topper would have made a wonderful difference. The food is great and I highly recommend the Alfredo with chicken and / or shrimp. The pool was warm. The ocean was warmer. We also enjoyed the lounge at night where we played games with the family. There were live entertainment nights with karaoke, steel drum band, and a DJ. Some of my family experienced not having hot water and switched rooms. This was an excellent experience considering the recent devastation from Hurricane Melissa. I’m glad we decided not to cancel. We will be back soon.

had a very disappointing stay at Travellers Beach Resort. I booked two back-to-back reservations for the same room type and confirmed multiple times that I would stay in the same room, yet I was given keys to a completely different room than the one on the form I signed. The first room had a foul odor, looked dirty, and had several cats outside the door, which is a problem because I’m allergic. After a long discussion, I was finally moved to the room I was supposed to have. Our group also had major room inconsistencies—half received renovated rooms while the rest of us got old, worn-out rooms that looked nothing like them. On top of that, we didn’t have hot water for two days, which is unacceptable. Service was inconsistent as well. Many staff members didn’t acknowledge us, yet they were noticeably friendlier with certain other guests. There were a few great employees—Oval and Shanika at dinner and Ricky at the bar were wonderful. However, Antwinette repeatedly had an attitude whenever I asked questions and only became polite after I asked for her name. During my second reservation, I was told I needed to move rooms again and would have to pay extra to “upgrade” just to stay in the same room, even though both bookings showed the same room type. Only after another staff member stepped in was I allowed to stay. The storm damage explains some of the property’s condition, but not the poor communication, inconsistent rooms, lack of hot water, or uneven treatment of guests.
