A few front desk staff is not overly friendly with non-Japanese speaking guests. I asked why there is no cold water in the room and a chubby lady with hair tied back (usually on night shift) impatiently told me to drink warm water from the tap. Her attitude towards foreigners will be a reason for me to think twice next time I book when coming to Japan again. My hat off to the cleaning lady who clean my room immaculately and treat me courteously even we don’t speak the same language. But back to the basic question, why is there no cold water in the room? The water is too warm for face cleaning and shampooing. I need answer from the management. My stay was pleasant except for the high water temperature.

This is a nice little cozy spot and it is located in a convenient area where close enough to walk to Tokyo station (20mins) On top of that, staff were friendly and very helpful people. But there was an unnoticeable wee step before the entrance door so mind your steps. I was carrying a heavy backpack and almost fell over lol.

I liked this hotel. It was a modest stay for a young couple in their 20s with a smaller budget. While being a smaller room, it had all the basic amenities and free basic breakfast. You also get a private bathroom which was a big deal for us to have as opposed to other hostels and what not. They also supported takkyubin services to ship our luggage to our next hotel. The staff was kind and accomodating to our needs (for example, our suitcases were delayed from the airport, and the hotel received them overnight). Anyways, I would consider staying again, it was very calm and quiet.
