The room was quiet and spacious, and toiletries are sufficient and of good quality. It was fantastic considering the price, but in Japan, this quality is a little more than average, which I usually expect APA hotel to be. The only thing that dissatisfied me was some dusty places in the room, such as the floor’s corner or the phone's top.

The staff was very helpful and professional. The breakfast was great. we were on the 3rd floor and the carpet was very warn throughout. The room was clean and it was a short walk to the train station.

Very nice hotel. They provided a free upgrade at the counter due to availability. My only negative point is the WiFi network was very slow. It was only good for email and basic internet browsing.

Although the room was advertised as having air conditioning, this was not so, there was only a heater with one fixed temperature. This meant that the room was uncomfortably hot the whole time we were in it. The reception staff did not speak English so were not particularly helpful about this, or about the fridge which was not working. However, the fridge was fixed during our stay so someone must have understood what we meant.

I stayed at this hotel since my typical hotels were not available. This is listed as a businessmans hotel. That is probably true for a Japanese traveler. For an English speaking traveler, it was much more difficult. None of the staff up front spoke any English. I was not able to get an itemized bill, since they seemed to think a summary bill was acceptable for my use and could not understand my questions. Purchasing breakfast one morning took almost 10 minutes due to the communication effort. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom very small, but functional. The desk was a disappointment, no chair (only a foot stool) and the TV was so large as to dominate the desk to the point that my laptop was on the edge of the desk (very tough to work).

Good location. Room was nice. This hotel has smoking and non smoking floors. I am a non smoker and the only rooms available were on smoking floors. Bathroom was a typical Japanese bathroom so it was small.

close to the jr station, there is a dumpling street on the road to jr station, 24H convenience stores are located pretty nearby, nice place to stay, either for business or holiday (if you want to visit the Nikko world heritage).

お世話になりました。毎年２回宇都宮に行っていますが初めてアパホテルさんに宿泊しました。静かで清潔感も良く大変満足出来てました。以前に高崎の駅前に宿泊した時、大浴場があったので宇都宮にもあるのかなって期待してしまい無かったのでほんの少し残念でしたが😢また宿泊したいと思います。
