The staff couldn’t communicate in English, we asked them many times the same thing and always a different answer. Our room still had some things from the previous guests. Location was good.

We had a hard time finding the front desk which is at the 13th floor. The service was really good. The breakfast as well. The AC was not strong enough for our room. Otherwise everything was fine.

Great location - easy to get to Hiroshima Station on the tram. Close to large shopping area. Nice spa on the top floor - but it’s a Japanese onsen, so separate spas for men and women and it’s 100% nude. Breakfast leaned more to Asian tastes but there enough Western options to get by. Room was clean, if a bit on the small side. Overall, a good option for those traveling to Hiroshima who want something safe, clean and welcoming without breaking the bank.

Weird hotel. Reception’s nearly at the top of the building as is breakfast. Apparently there’s some sort of group bath (ick!) on the top floor. There’s open discrimination against males with tattoos using it though. First the negatives. The room has no storage space so all your clothing is staying in your suitcases. You can’t open the windows so smells will linger. Slightly confusing room cleaning model. Graffiti adorns the entrance to the building. Checkout involves posting your key in a box on the ground floor. On the plus side the hotel is conveniently located for the A-bomb monuments/Museum, castle and Hiroshima Station which are all within walking distance. Also, The room was clean, quiet and the hotel staff were polite. The smart toilet is great! Nothing special and nothing terrible.

This hotel has an unusual entry, having to go to the 13 th floor. The room was very small and not well organised. The breakfasts were predominantly Japanese with little Western food. The room had tissues which were terribly small and the toilet paper was wafer thin. The bed was comfortable. The shower was in the bathtub which was so deep it was challenging to get into and I have long legs.

My room was musty and smelt like a wet dog. When I asked for assistance with it, I was given fabreeze. I think the air conditioner in the room was ancient and not working accordingly but man... The smell was gastly. The staff were shells of their former selves which makes me believe they aren't paid and treated well. Just... Not worth it.

A couple of days in Hiroshima - the hotel was generally fine but annoying to have one side of the bed wedged up against the wall and the view being directly against the windows of the building next door so we had to keep the curtains closed.

The location of the hotel was not great. On the day we were leaving we requested a taxi and were told none were available and that we should try to hail one from the street. They did not have staff to assist with luggage. Finally, one of the receptionists agreed to assist in getting a taxi. We appreciated her assistance but the whole matter was difficult. The hotel is too far from the train station to cart your luggage to the streetcar. The breakfast was average at best with only undercooked scrambled eggs as a choice. Overall, our stay was okay but in the future I would choose a hotel closer to the central train station.
