What Guests Say About Their Stay

The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes' walk to Ueno and Mido-cho stations, and downstairs is the Amiyoko shopping street with lots of food and convenience stores. The rooms are bunk beds, the beds are wider than expected and can sleep up to three people. It's very affordable, especially for families with children. The hotel's large bath is also very nice. The front desk service is very warm. Translated with DeepL.com (free version).

Convenient to travel. Very convenient. We go to 3 adults. Fit, but when opening the bag may be a little difficult. Limited space for a few minutes There is a lot of electricity in the room, do not have to add the three eyes to add it and the school will allow us to drink water if you do not want to clean the room. But with towels changed Foot towel in the bathroom every day The deposit of the bag is very good. Leave both before the check-in time. And after check out Check-in day, we come back six and a half times. Until the school officer informed him that he had successfully put the bag into the room For check out Until the officer informed that he could deposit the bag for no more than 1 day. Impressed by the service until the location had the opportunity to go back to sleep here.

I choose this hotel due to its convenient location near train station Ueno (ideal for the direct connection to the airport). Would not reccomend. Thank goodness it was only for two nights. We were in a musty and moldy smelling room. I immidiately asked to switch rooms and they said it would be $300 more to switch. So I said no. Or wait for the next day and they would clean it. But by 4am we couldn't take it. Couldn't sleep. So I went to the desk and they said I'd have to wait till the next day as they had no rooms. The second room was a lot better. But still had a smell. I also booked here in hopes of using their hot tub. But be aware you can not wear swim suits. It's a nude thing. Not my cup of tea. So we were quite disappointed in the stay overall. The area is very busy with restaurants. Subway is close by.

We stayed in a smaller family room and it was a comfortable stay for a short visit with little luggage. The smaller rooms are a trade off for being right in the heart of the Ueno market area. There are unlimited restaurant choices, shops and markets right outside the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is also super close to Ueno station which accesses JR and subway lines and the Skyliner to Narita. Ueno is a great spot to explore all of Tokyo from as a base.

Room for four people is very tight. It's fine if you have kids, but it is quite cramped and you will be squeezing past one another in the corridor. Bathroom door swings outward so be careful! They have some basic sundries if you forget anything, which is good. And the beds are rather comfortable. Lots of places to eat in the area, and very convenient to the Skyliner - 5 minute walk. Overall, not bad for a one night stay. Might not be for something longer.
