Lovely little place to stay. Love the tea room ryokan theme. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a lovely traditional Japanese breakfast. Probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Even went home with a little polaroid photo of my self in front of the building. If you have the money it's definitely worth the experience.

Cyashitsu Ryokan was the golden ticket of our stay in Japan. The staff were all so friendly, accomodating, and easy to talk with. The location is incredible, so close to Sensoji and lots of food and shopping, but the best food was absolutely the dinner set we experienced as part of our reservation. Highly highly recommend. The room (and whole building, honestly) was enchanting. The kaiseki breakfast was delicious and filling, and they gave us a plate of fruit celebrating our 10th anniversary. Other reviews of this place said they cried when they chevked out, and honestly I cried too over having to leave. It's that beautiful. If you love ryokan and traditional Japanese style, if you love Asakusa area with Sensoji and Sky Tree, if you want someplace happy, calm, snd romantic and you have the chance to book here, do it.
