The hotel is classic with very helpful hotelier. The location is near Ginza, and it is a walking distance with a lot of restaurants near the hotel. No need to worry if you do not order breakfast in the hotel. It is near convenience store which I believe you need to try their snacks and onigiri for breakfast. Overall, it is a very pleasant experience staying at Daiichi Hotel Tokyo.

It was very joyful to stay at Daiichi Hotel Tokyo. I spent 6 wonderful nights there. Thank you for maintaining a 100-year-old hotel as good as a new hotel. Great job!

The room was very big and clean and one more free minibar and every day it was refilled. The location of the hotel is very close to Shimbashi station making access everywhere easy and also outside the hotel a lot of food. If you go to Tokyo, you will go to this hotel again

Nice hotel in good location. Just to make sure to book early. We decide to add a night before our stay at the last minute and the hotel has deleted the option for extra bed in the reservation, so we have to pay the hefty charge for extra bed. The other 3 nights was good price for 3 person. Also very nice breakfast.

Besides the breakfast which we had at the world buffet, hotel was good. Breakfast included multiple varieties, however nothing really was a highlight. We reached at 945 and food was almost gone. As last order was at 10 am which was ample of time to refill, however items weren't refilled. It was very expensive from that perspective. We paid in full and didn't receive the variety.

Location is great with waking distance to JR Shimbashi and Ginza station, tons of food close by. Only downside is that if you a light sleeper, due its proximity you can hear the trains. It could have been our room as we were on a higher floor. It became white noise after a few nights.

A top hotel very close to the Ginza, only a few minute walk away. The front desk staff and the concierges were friendly but for the most part did not speak good English. This was surprising in such a highly rated and expensive hotel catering to international guests. Have your Google translator ready to use. We have visited at least 70 countries and the poor English communication skills by front desk personnel was shocking.

This hotel was one of the finest I’ve stayed at in my life! We had a room that included the executive club. Breakfast was included and was your choice of a western breakfast or a Japanese breakfast. The food was amazing and the executive lounge was open most of the day with access to light snacks and desserts. There are a number of restaurants inside this immaculate property. I highly recommend it and would go back!

Fabulous hotel premier room came with free breakfasts and use of the lounge for evening snacks and drinks. Also 1 free use of all item in the mini bar in the room. We had an evening meal in enchante french restaurant on our last evening and it was fantastic despite the language differences the staff coped with us and had a lovely smile and eluded happiness all the time. Bell services were great. Only moan a bit was about the cafe bar which we used on one night had a drink then never got offered or asked if we wanted a second drink. Then next day came back to the hotel after a long day walking and needed a drink to chill and got told to come back in an hour for some reason even though there were sests at the bar available. Didnt understand that but really on minor things the rest was just fabulous if we should ever go to tokyo again i would book this hotel again great location next to a railway station as well

This is a very nice hotel near Shimbashi Station and Ginza, and within walking distance of Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace. The staff is polite, kind, and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel reminds me of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco: elegant and from a bygone era (in a good way). There were no laundry facilities; however there is a laundry service. We did our laundry at a laundromat called Guruguru just down the street, which was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

This was the best by far of the three hotels we used on our trip to Japan. The room was very spacious and the bathroom a little dated but all clean and fully functional. The staff were very helpful and arrange our luggage getting shipped to Kyoto, doing all the paperwork for us. Location is great as it is close to the train station, a must in Tokyo and there are lots of places to drink and eat close by. The hotel bar has a cool view of the train lines and was a nice spot to relax. Very pleased with our stay there!

15min walk to a lot of Ginza shopping and restaurants, 5-7min to a Ginza line station, I loved this hotel. Staff speaks great English, and service is top notch. I’ve never been treated so respectfully and kindly before as a guest. Rooms are quite spacious and very clean, I could open my large hard shell suitcase in the room without completely blocking others’ paths. The bathroom was luxurious and fully stocked with amenities, I really appreciated the face wash, toner and face cream and body lotions as my products weren’t quite enough. Lots of older businessmen bustling about, I didn’t see many families in the lobby or the lounge. Lounge is small but never overly crowded or noisy. The food selection is French inspired and rotates between the same dishes, but there is a fair amount of variety considering the space size, and it was exactly what my group needed for the tail end of our trip before flying out of Narita airport, lobby staff was able to give me a print out of the limo bus schedule with a QR code to book tickets online. The limo bus that stops here does not go to Haneda airport from what I understand. This was a bit of a treat to myself to stay here, and I would love to come back to explore more of the area. However, the hotel location may be less ideal for visitors hoping to pack their trip and go all across Tokyo. I was able to visit Ginza, Shibuya, Ueno Park, Tsukiji fish market and meet for a Mt Fuji tour from Tokyo Station really easily.
