Family Lodge Hatagoya Hakone Sengokuhara

This hotel was a blast to stay at. Not situated close to the city, it still offered a lot for the location. Situated in the middle of the transit run, it will either bring you back to town or all the way to the gondola terminal, where you can either go on the volcano or take a ferri on the lake. I would strongly suggest to get the city pass for the transit to enjoy all the attraction for 1 price.

It’s in a remote area suitable for those who drive. It comes with a free parking area just outside the block. Not much amenities around. Nearest convenience store is 3-4 minutes drive away. Simple croissant breakfast is quite good.

The place is peaceful and calm. A place where you can relax.

Breakfast was so good but only bread and crosent and coffee. If you need to access a supermarket look for Coop supermarket 5 mins drive from this place. Recommend for a small family.

Very good place if you just want to spend nights. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you don’t have a car you can use buses but frequency is low.

Very friendly staff and a good sized room. Croissants and small bread rolls with orange juice, tea or coffee was also a pleasant breakfast.

located in the middle of mountain. not easy to access unless you are drving. but the air is freash and sorrouding area is beautiful.

Excellent service from the staff! The place is near the bus stop (about 2-3 min walk) and I have huge luggages and they are manageable. Rooms are very clean and spacious and cozy. The place is quiet and the light breakfast was enough to keep your stomach from hunger. Recommended!

Cute little motel that is clean and comfortable, however you probably need a car - there aren’t any shops or restaurants nearby, and although the bus stop is close, it’s on the main road (literally just standing on the road, half in the bushes) and there is no side walk to the motel so you have to walk on the road, which is a bit stressful with luggage/kids. If you’re relying on public transport this might not be the best place for you.

Well located property with all basic facilities. Light breakfast was extremely light.

It is a very good location to take a rest and enjoy the view. The staff are really kind and helpful. And the bus stop is just 2 min walk.

Excellent service for price , if you can car so there is no issue at all , but if you use bus then the path beside road is very narrow and not proper bus station .
