It was a very nice hotel and location for the price(right by an Aeon mall and the main Fujinomiya station). The staff was very friendly and even let me keep my luggage with them after i checked out. Very spacious and comfortable room. 10/10, best hotel i stayed at in Japan so far!

Delightfully surprised. Much better than expected. Although its an older hotel, we received a non-smoking and clean, comfortable and spacious room. The mountain view room, did indeed have a view of Mt. Fuji. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great, 1 block from the train and bus station.

Room was spacious for 3 adults. I requested a nonsmoking room but there was an ashtray in our room. Bathroom was very small. Wonderful staff. You can borrow a night gown, robe, and toiletries from an area in the lobby. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was spacious, had a good view of Mt Fuji (depending on the weather), and even had a balcony to top it off. However, the triple room we stayed in was occasionally used as a smoking room. The staff told us to spray the room to reduce the odor even though we requested a no smoking room.
Above all of these, one concern stood out to us the most. Whilst watching TV, a tick roughly the size of a thumb was roaming around one of beds; my children couldn’t sleep well and were uncomfortable the entire night.

We picked this hotel because it was one of the few options available to us after climbing the Fujinomiya route to the summit of Mount Fuji. It was comfortable and clean. It was great to have the laundry machine and dryer on site, which cost only 100 yen each to use. The people at the reception desk were very friendly - one guy even went out of his way to help us find a post office to ship our Fuji walking stick back home. However, the hotel is dated and the room smelled slightly of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Also, we were not happy with their security policy - we came back at 1 pm to find all the doors on our floor unlocked and propped wide open. There was no staff around, so anyone could have walked into the rooms and taken things. The reception desk told us it was for cleaning the rooms, but we found the whole cleaning staff busy on a different floor. Nothing was stolen and I know Japan is a very safe country, but we were still unhappy with the experience. I wish they would change their policy so that they only leave open doors one floor at a time, not all the doors in the whole building.

Basic accommodation in a small rural town at foot of Mt Fuji. Check was straight forward and relatively pleasantwith attendant having basic English understanding. Requested a nonsmoking room which the attendant confirmed at check in. However, on entry to the room it was clear that this room has not always been non smoking. The room smelt of stale cigarettes. Hence the mediocre review.
Opening the window did help and I did not ask to change rooms.
The other issue I had was noise in the hall from other guests and loud banging of their room doors. Clearly audible from my room which was at the end of the hall.
The best part of the room was the view of Mt Fuji out of the small window at the side of the foot area of the bed. Unfortunately the rooftop bar is only open in summer, I imagine the view of Mt Fuji from that vantage point would be terrific.
The other positive was the close proximity to the JR station, literally across the road, to the right of the main exit.

Location was awesome! Easy to find just opposite the train station and there bus station too (bus straight to Tokyo!)
Service was great too! The person who serve us at the front counter was able to speak English. We were there early then check in timing so we leave our luggages in the hotel. By the time we back, they had help us to carry us luggages back to the room.
Offer us each person a bag of foods too (Bread, pudding and drink).
As for the condition of the room, its clean and decent with no smell at all. Just that the furniture has to change a bit old. Most of my time are out of the hotel so i don't really care about the room but must be clean and no smell which they have it.
Overall it was a good stay!

시설은 노후되었으나 이점은 알고갔고 간단한 편의시설은 갖추어져있음
그러나 침대가 상태가 너무 꺼지고 침구가 너무 불편해 지내는동안 숙면을 취하기 힘들었음
호텔 주변으로 도보거리 맛집들있어서 좋음
