Lovely wee hostel, recently renovated. Friendly, helpful staff at reception and in the small cafe area. Super clean. We had a superior family room with ensuite for three adults. There was heaps of space to sort out our luggage before flying home. Great location, only 7 min walk from Senso-ji temple and its shopping area, 10 min to Asakusa station. The double futon beds were the most comfortable we slept on anywhere in Japan.

Such a great place to stay at! The room was nice and clean with plenty of space for my luggage. I really liked how the spaces were decorated too. The amount of umbrellas available for use was pretty nice too. Everyone that worked there was very nice, patient, and friendly to talk with. I hope their cafe is successful for them! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot in Asakusa!

Everything was wonderful. The room, bathroom and shower areas are spotless. The whole place was spotless. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful. Every question was answered and they went out of their way to help us reach the store we wanted to see- we were not able to call locally- yet they helped us by calling on their personal phones. What angels!!!!!

Many shops and restaurants nearby. There are airport bus available in a stop just few min walk which is excellent for me. But it requires 10+ min walk to get up the right rail station to ueno which is not good. Breakfast is available in the hostel with reasonable price if you don’t walk out to look for it first thing in the morning which is very good.

The hostel is nice and in a good location. Very close to the temple. Staff were friendly and accommodating. However, it is a 15 - 20 minutes walk from the train station. Found ourselves taking a lot of bus rides at the end of the day to avoid the 20 minute walk. The beds are very uncomfortable. Hard as the floor. At least that was our experience with the room we had. Tough time getting a comfortable night rest after a long day. All our backs hurts. I don't know if it's a cultural thing, but I definitely prefer a soft bed. The hostel has a washer/dryer combo. It's convenient, but with those combos we also had to hang the jeans to dry. Took almost 2 days for the jeans to dry. Very inconvenient. All the hotels we stayed at in Japan were like that. So, if you plan doing laundry, maybe bring thin fabrics that will dry fast.

We (2 adults/2 little kids) stayed in one of the two big rooms on the 4th (top) floor, it was perfect! We booked the room because it sounded funny (the photos had a tent in the room, disappointingly our didn't haha) and it was relatively cheap. The room was huge and quiet with BEANBAGS AND A PROJECTOR!!! Sure, it's the top level of a hostel, but it's a hidden gem in a touristy area. Staff were lovely and spoke English very well. Would happily stay again.
