Amazing staff. Great place to stay

This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed on in my whole life. So charming and the bath is incredible.

This was the most incredible hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The property was lovely, the staff was helpful and kind, the location is excellent. And the Japanese baths were fantastic.

Booked a private room and the futons made for a comfy night of sleep. Great if you are planning on spending most of your day out exploring Beppu.

We stayed here for a night in a private room. The area is very well located - this was the biggest advantage. Amenities are limited compared to other hotels that I've stayed in..e.g. slippers cost extra, only 1 towel complimentary per person per stay, etc. But overall, I had picked it for the convenience, and that goal was achieved. Will recommend for very short stays!

Room was completely misadvertised as having a shower/bath, there was only communal available and even that had limited availability. The room had paper thin walls and wasn't exactly the cleanest one I have stayed at. I checked out early considering the false advertising and unacceptable conditions, the manager was unhelpful and came up with bogus excuses, refusing any refund. It's a Showa era youth hostel, nothing more. Avoid.

Resemble student hostel than for tourists stay!

The staff was very kind and nice. Location was Close to everything and convenient. Price was very reasonable for nice stay.

Excellent staff and room. Was the first time using Tatami mats and futon and was comfortable. The onsen was great. Highly recommend.

The facility is nice, but the walls are paper thin and the management does not care at all about noisy guests. I raised the issue to them and they did absolutely nothing, resulting in loud guests coming in waking everyone up at 3am multiple nights in a row. Or being awaken by alarm clocks from next door that just don't stop going off. When I wanted to leave the manager would not refund me for the nights I would not be there. Again, nice facility... but don't expect to actually be able to sleep.

Location is very convenient. Room is cozy and with a beautiful view.

It was nice to have the onset at site . Room was huge and spacious . Good breakfast (buffet style) was included .

Nice breakfast offerings and lovely to have an in house onsen open through the night and early morning!

Good place, just needs a bit of TLC. Lots of dust in the bed area and the onsen was practically boiling. Wish I could have enjoyed the onsen.

Booked a traditional private room was OK but had no towels or drinking cups in the room. Need to borrow or buy amenities at a charge. No private showers so ladies expecting their period have to take note before booking. Most of the guests are staying in dormitory rooms so that's understandable but for private rooms at least there should be the basic amenities.

I went on a short vacation with some of my friends and we stayed in one of the non-hostel rooms. The room was spacious and clean, though a little worn out due to the building`s age. The staff was very friendly and even though we could speak Japanese with them, they tried their best to speak English before knowing that. The hotel is foreigner friendly. The included breakfast was simple but delicious. There was enough food and variety to make me and my friends content until lunch time. A word of caution: there are no private baths in this hotel. You must use the hot spring if you want to take a shower. This was not a problem for my group because we went to Beppu to go to the hot springs. I did not personally use the one in the hotel, but my friends did and they said it was good. The hotel does have free parking, but there aren`t that many parking spaces so please keep that in mind if you are bringing a car. This hotel is located close to a train station, the ocean, and many famous hot springs, which makes the location great. If you are going to some of the further tourist locations in Beppu, the proximity to the train station makes it easy to catch a bus. In conclusion, this hotel was a good find, especially for the price!

いいところ: 温泉付き、疲れを取れる。 古いですが、清潔感がある。 改善してほしいところ: 家族三人ですが、フェスタオルが1枚のみ、三人分なら別料金かかる。 部屋の中に電気ケトルが置いてあったが、コップなし。お茶パックもなし。

La chambre était bien même si les toilettes sur le palier faisait beaucoup de bruit dès que quelqu'un les utiliser

コップ無し、お茶コーヒーなど無し 湯沸かしポット、冷蔵庫有り スリッパ無し、寝巻き無し 歯ブラシ等の洗面具無し ハンドソープ有り シーツの替え３日に一回、各自で押し入れからシャツなど寝具を出し用意をする、シーツは洗われているが長年の使用で加齢臭の様な臭いがきつい バスタオル有料交換、手拭いサイズは無し
