High-end hotel with stellar room and view. I stayed here because I was doing day trips to Kurashiki and Naoshima Island and this hotel is conveniently connected to the Okayama train station.

Extremely convenient location. Indoor passage all the way from JR Okayama Station to the hotel. Very clean, very kind staff. One can do most of the shopping without going out since it is connected underground to several shopping centers. No need for an umbrella, even if it rains. A bit expensive compared to other hotels.

The front desk receptionist was kind and courteous, accommodating my request for a bigger room. In the past, there was always someone who led us to the room with suitcases, but this year, evidently, they stopped doing it. We proceeded to our room alone without any staff showing us the way. It does not matter to me, but, I think this is their cost-cutting measure.

This is my fifth stay at Granvia Okayama. Elegant, comfortable, and convenient. I asked for extra bath towels, and they were delivered within 5 minutes. I didn't opt for the hotel breakfast, since there are so many convenient and less expensive options in the station area.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. All staff were very professional and friendly. The breakfast was great with 19th floor view. If the is hotel equip coin laundry machines for guests to use, it would be more than perfect hotel in Okayama.

Premium Superior Twin Room (non-smoking) Excellent room with lots of space, except for a tiny toilet. Fast internet. Pricey drinks. Conveniently next to the railway station. Tram stop not far away that goes to the castle and gardens.
