Hotel Hanshin Osaka

Room had good views of Umeda from 17th floor. Men's baths are being retired so not available. Check out at 12 means check-ins not till around 3. Across road from Fukushima station so easy walk with bags. Good breakfast mix of western and Japanese buffet. Chef will make you an omelette if you ask.

Location was excellent. Staff was good. Male spa was under repair which would be very disappointing for male guests.

Literally right outside of a train station, with the Osaka loop station being the next one over! Osaka was beautiful, out view from out room was fantastic and the amenities provided were great too! The breakfast buffet provided was very nice and I enjoyed trying japanese tea for the first time. God willing, If I ever returned to Osaka, I'd want to stay at this hotel again!!!

The room is convenient located near the train station. Clean and friendly staff.

Close to station and food places. Mostly clean and nice mineral bathing. Mist down side things were smoking room like a closet no air and mold in bathroom especially under sink

Very comfortable hotel with good spa bathtub ( hot special spa water). Spacious. Very good view form high floors. Very nice staff. I havent really seen pretty areas in Osaka so in absolute I gave a 3/5 for the area aorund the hotel but may be Osaka as a town is onyl 3/5 anyway in terms of urban presentation. I preferred much more Kyoto.

This is a very nice hotel that provided a comfortable room. I didn't use room service so I'm not sure if it was available. The hotel is nearby the train station which made it convenient to visit destinations such as the Osaka aquarium. There were good local restaurants around and a convenience store very close that made this a good hotel. The breakfast was good although it was a bit expensive.

The hotel appears somewhat dated, and certain amenities commonly expected in a four-star establishment are lacking. For instance, coffee and tea facilities are not provided within the guest rooms; instead, they are available only in the reception area. While a mini fridge and an electric kettle are provided, there are other areas of concern. The room windows are single-pane, resulting in noticeable external noise infiltration and insufficient temperature and sound insulation. This also leads to significant condensation on the windows during colder months, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. I found it necessary to wipe down the condensation multiple times daily to maintain comfort. Additionally, the quality of the towels provided was subpar; they were thin, absorbed moisture poorly, and remained damp, contributing to an overall humid environment. The air purifier in the room appeared to further increase moisture levels, prompting me to disable its humidifying function. Furthermore, the only pillows available were filled with barley, which made them uncomfortably firm and difficult to adjust, and no alternative options were offered. Overall, while the hotel does meet basic requirements, several elements detracted from the overall experience, especially when considering its four-star rating.

A slightly upscale hotel, conveniently located on the Osaka loop line.

We arrived at the hotel 2 hrs early, and the front desk person allowed us to check in. I am very thankful for the hotel staff gesture.

Overall the staffs are very respectful though difficult to communicate. Very few staff especially those in the reception area speaks english. Sakai is one of those who understands and speaks english well. She is very helpful together with Kato in handling our problem and request.
