Clean hotel, good location and dedicated employees. Nearby convenience stores and walkable distance from Old Takayama where all the cultural things happen.

Good service, good location

Great serviceable hotel for the festival.

Near the train station and walkable to shops and some attractions. Service could be improved as the curry rice dinner provided did not come with other dishes (just curry sauce and rice). A request for a 1 hour late check out because we have a kid came with a 1000yen fee which I thought was uncalled for.

The seating and dining areas are not conducive. There was complimentary curry rice (white rice and curry gravy) and a drink for each hotel guest during happy hours. Other than that, the small room is adequately furnished.

Very reasonable stay in a modern place. close to JR Station and vonvenient for walking to central part of town

I stayed here only for one night during the Spring Festival. It's very close to the train station and clean. However, I think it was overpriced -most likely because of the Festival-.

The hotel is on the quieter side behind the Takayama station but is still very convenient. The room is very clean and the concept of eco cleaning is very good too.

Staff is good , but they have own site parking but they didn’t allow me parking car there . In snow time its very difficult to parking very far . Also didn’t give any discount coupon for parking.

Really nice hotel. Only thing that i would change is maybe having humidifier as air was so dry and room was very hot, even after turning off the heating.

The free drink self service happy hour from 6pm to 8pm was excellent. The room was very nicely designed and clean.

The hotel is good because of it’s new facilities, Guest delight w/ the happy hour & coffee service. Staff is supportive to assist/answer our questions. In general the price & service is fine ..., We choose to stay in this hotel next time😍

i like the cleanliness of the hotel. i suggest that the use of onsen will be 24 hours.

I confess that I was looking for the cheapest hotel near the Takayama train station. But as the Kuretakeso supposedly has thermal baths, I let that fact sway me. So, the Kuretakeso wasn't the cheapest, but it was still cheap, for Takayama prices anyway. And I suppose now I know why. The Good: The bed! It was really big and that mattress was heaven! The pillow too was very comfy. The Not So Good: The room is supposed to have "blackout curtains / blinds". They are blinds and not blackout, but still sufficiently dark. The "What the heck!": The room size was average for a business hotel of this kind, but the layout was just awkward. The electric kettle and cups were next to de entrance door, almost all the electric sockets are near the bed, in the other end of the room. The desk has no mirror, but there is a full length mirror just in front the bathroom door, so you can say hello to yourself while in the toilet if you left the door open. The Bad:The check-in was really awkward, with 3 front desk persons that speak bad English trying to tell me what to do all at the same time. They made a mistake with what I had to pay, so later I had to go down to the reception to pay the difference. But the worst was that due to COVID the thermal baths WERE CLOSED! And I found out only until I got there AND paid for my stay. They gave me bath bombs to make my own SPA! The Really BAD: The bathroom curtain! It was pink with shower mould from sink height to its lower end. I won't be coming back.
