It was quite at night, clean, and the staff were very nice. Only 2 down sides I saw were that there was no safe in the room I stayed in and that the shower randomly got hot.

I liked that the room was well designed to include all the basics a person needs. Nothing was luxurious but everything was practical and functional. Personally, I found the bed uncomfortable.

Room was ok. Room on the smaller side of our stay. A bit dated. Location was good, close to the station and castle. Bed was a bit too hard. Our room window looked right onto another buildings outdoor staircase. Problem was that the light for the staircase beamed into our room as the blinds were a couple of inches from the wall and let lots of light in, right into the eyes of the person on the bed next to the wall.

Cleanliness needs to be improved.

Good value for price paid

A very poorly maintained and shabby property, with staff who did not seem to care at all, when they could be found. I will never stay here again. The best that can be said of it, is that is was not overtly dirty.

second stay at this hotel, and still is a good value choice. Although a very business / working man's hotel with no restaurant, it's clean and very convenient to the train station, markets, stores, and food and a 20 minute walk to Himeji Castle. Room was surprisingly large and included a microwave and small sink. Washers and dryers on several floors is also a bonus, as well as vending machines for that late nite drink. Most inexpensive hotel in all my 16 day stay, but it's definitely not a 'cheap' feeling. If ever back in Himeji, definitely will consider staying here again.

Overall good. Just as much as its price. Close to the train station. Washing machines are on two floors.

Nothing spectacular, the hotel is well located and our room was decent, bed was comfortable, the room was well equiped.

Hotel overall is ok but the room comfort was not ok. Bed was very hard and tiny. Could barely fit us. Room was clean. The hotel does not have blockout curtains and the curtain installed was tiny. There was no way to stop the light from coming in. So overall the comfort factor was not there. Staff hardly understand English.

Great place to stay. Small room but very clean. Staff and managment are very helpful.
