Hotel Maira

It is a good deal for how much you are paying. The building may be a little old, but the staff try to make up for it with their great service. They also offer free unlimited drinks and popsicles. Super close to the station and the shopping street.

-booked last minute however, the price was great for the location. -had a little bit of a language barrier but nothing google wasn't able to fix. -free soft drinks and coffee -great location -room was big for japan style had a sofa -would not be my first option if i was staying in the area again but would not mind

They are offering meat buns, ice creams and soft drinks for free.

We were pleasantly surprised with the meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was within walking distance. Snacks in the lobby were nice and the hotel had a cute otter theme. Highly recommended.

Although the rom size is small but it is ery clean and staffs are also very friendly. They have complimentry drinks and breakfast as well. Overall it was a great experience

Very clean, reasonable price, and with friendly staff. The hotel's sea otter theme is very cute and adds extra charm to the place. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Okayama!

The hotel was a little difficult to find at first but once you know the way it was easy. The staff were extremely friendly and very courteous. We had a early start and informed them that we would’ve heading out before breakfast started. They set aside some snacks for us to take the next morning which was a lovely touch. They even organized for a package to be delivered to my next hotel when the Post Office was closed. We were so impressed by the amount of hospitality from the hotel. The room itself was spacious for the two of us but the only downside was that the room smelled of cigarette smoke. As a non smoker it was hard to sleep and the deodorizer in the room was utilized all night long. We had a restless nights sleep. If the rooms were not smoky it would have been a very good nights sleep.

Directions (provided by hotel) from train station to hotel were not clear, if not helpful. “Breakfast included “ was exaggerated - only coffee/other drinks and a few pre-packaged breads were offered. Adult-films TV channels were readily available when this hotel presented itself as a family friendly one.

Reception staff, location & price great. Room a bit drab & really disliked the very open hard copy advertising (graphic images lying on the table) and access to (just flicking the channel up / down brings you to them) porn tv channels. Really not acceptable.

It was a comfortable hotel under a certain price range. Friendly staff members and a bit surprised by free drink and ice cream.

Good location, near Okayama Station & big shopping mall. Friendly staff. Room decoration is a bit out. Very simple breakfast with packed buns & free drinks. Valued for short stay.
