Overall, we were happy to spend 6 nights at MyStays Gotanda Station Hotel, only 4 minutes to JR Gotanda Station, and around the hotel there is a LOT of food, if you want delicious halal food there is also Grill Hunter (± 450 m from the hotel, just walk 7min). Tips if you want to book, ask for a room on the left side (we were in room 225), room 225 is not as noisy as written in the previous review, because it is on the 1st side, not the side facing the train tracks. There are laundry rooms on the 5th and 10th floors, don't forget to prepare JPY100 coins, the detergent can be bought at the Family Mart in the lobby, if you want the clothes to dry ±80% dry, then during the drying process choose 1 hour, so just stay in the room It just needs to be aired out a little. So from the start of washing to the end of drying it takes 1 hour, prepare ±2 hours so you don't rush;) For those who want to send their suitcases directly to Haneda/Narita, you can help at the front desk, the service is usually next day. If you send suitcases to another city or to Kansai airport like us, it takes around 2-3 working days, the price, if I'm not mistaken, for a max 25 kg suitcase is around 300 thousand. Hopefully it's useful 😊.

Kami memesan kamar twin superior, jadi nyaman sekali dan luas. Hotelnya letaknya strategis karena dekat dengan Gotanda Station, tinggal menyeberang. Fasilitas hotelnya juga baik, terutama untuk laundry coin. Semua staff-nya ramah dan sangat membantu.

This hotel is in strategic location. Near gotanda station. Staff friendly. I’ve shipped my baggage from osaka before and they accept my baggage 2 days before my check in date. Even the baggage already sent to my room when I check in. The room nice and clean. Definitely will stay in this hotel again if I back to Japan.

Everything was superb! Spacious with a great bathroom cleanliness! Located just right next to Gotanda Station and there are a lot of restaurants near the hotel (there's a Family Mart too next to the hotel)

Super easy access from Gotanda Station, just across the street. There are many casual Japanese dining places within a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
The only downside is that, although I have stayed here four times, the staff still ask me to write my name in Kanji at check-in, which I do not have.

It has a confusing entrance that it not well identified.
I understood l had booked a small single room but l didn’t think that would mean there would be no room for my suitcase and l would have to sleep with it on my bed.
The laundry was excellent.

Very clean and spacious room for a family of four. The decor wasn't lacking nor over-the-top. Plenty of seating around the room, along with a fridge and water heater for tea. Very convenient location with a train station across the street, and a Family Mart right by the entrance.

This property was perfect for our one night stay before heading to the airport. Unfortunately there is little to do in this area for tourists. The subway stop is very convenient and has an excellent bakery nearby called ROD. Starbucks is about a 7 min walk from the hotel. The hotel room was small and very clean and appears to be updated. Staff were very courteous. Recommend for short stay. 😊

Good hotel for the price. Excellent access to transportation (it's across the street from the JR train station). However, the noise of the trains might be bothersome to some during train hours. Neighborhood is a mixed bag, some streets nearby aren't wholesome.

Very clean and convenient next to the train station. Our room was very quiet but you can hear the trains in rooms facing the station. Relatively updated but the furniture and room are a bit miniature, which is hard to tell from the photos (but common in Japan as I understand). All in all it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.
