My stay at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived before 11 am, we were greeted with an unparalleled level of service. The staff immediately took our bags for our four rooms, and to our delight, they had our rooms ready for us despite our early arrival. The entire hotel felt like a journey back in time, offering an "old world" charm that was both elegant and captivating. The bars and shops exude a classic sophistication that is rarely found today. Every detail felt deliberate and refined, from the stunning decor to the impeccable service. What truly set this hotel apart was the personal, delicate touch that made us feel so special. The sight of the women in beautiful kimonos and the men in sharp suits created an atmosphere of pure class and distinction. It felt like stepping into a bygone era of five-star service, where every guest is treated with the utmost respect and care. The Imperial Hotel Tokyo doesn't just provide a place to stay—it provides a truly immersive and unforgettable experience. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a blend of historic charm, modern comfort, and exceptional hospitality.

Superb Japanese service in a prime location at a competitive price. Historic hotel still retains touches from the old Frank Lloyd Wright design. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and am never disappointed.

The shopping arcade on B1 was not what it used to be 10, 15, 20 years ago. The quality of the merchandise sold in the stores were a bit “cheap” in quality and prices.

This hotels lives up to its 5-star rating. First, this review is based on our stay in a Tower room. Yes, it will be cheaper considering you have to walk each day over to the main building for breakfast. Yet, if you don't mind the extra steps, it can be a great deal for a 5-star hotel if you get a good price. Even up on the 28th floor, you can hear the bullet train and metro passing most of the day.

Very friendly and professional staff. Our room was very noisy. All night I was hearing the noice from the train tracks on the bridge near the hotel. We are coming back to stay there for two nights. I asked the front desk to change our room to another side so we won’t hear the noice.
