Overall we had a good stay but felt the cost per night is really over priced for the standard of room you get. Upon check in we were given a room that smelt of stale cigarettes and then an overwhelming perfume smell to try and mask it. The combination gave me a horrible headache so we asked to switch. We were shown to 2 more rooms which smelt the exact same. It wasn’t until we were shown to our 4th room on a much higher floor that it smelt neutral. However the staff were very helpful and understanding during this process. They also put a ¥30,000 charge on your card at check in which I have never experienced before and thought was excessive - you can just hold card details and not charge? The breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of variety.

I feel compelled to write this review to strongly caution anyone considering booking this property. My recent stay was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. This establishment is misrepresented online and is nowhere near the 5-star luxury it claims to be. While the aging property was disappointing, the staff's attitude was the absolute breaking point. They were not just unhelpful; they were consistently, shockingly rude. From the front desk agent who sighed heavily while checking us in to the concierge who outright dismissed a simple question, every interaction felt like an inconvenience to them. There was no warmth, no desire to assist, and a palpable lack of professionalism. It completely poisoned the atmosphere and made us feel unwelcome in a place we were paying a significant amount of money to stay.There are countless other options in the area that offer modern accommodations and professional, courteous service for the same price or less. This hotel is trading on a reputation it has not maintained for years. Save yourself the disappointment, frustration, and money and book anywhere else. A true 5-star experience combines both luxury facilities and impeccable service—this hotel delivers on neither.

They checked me in almost 2 hours late after check in because they did not have a room available for me despite having reservations. We wasted 2 hours just waiting.

Wonderful breakfast and also in room dining options child friendly. Staff very friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay!

Amazing hotel, great pool. We stayed in the Mini suite with our family (2 kids) and the lounge access and breakfast were great for our purposes.

I stayed here in 2018; recent renovations are wonderful. I splurged on a club lounge level room (34th floor) this time and it was worth it. I’ve stayed in many areas of the city on several trips. This hotel is a quick enough walk to Roppongi, train stations, and a Starbucks Roastery (next building). Taxis are also always there. I didn’t go in the pool: too many kids this time of year. For others, this would be a benefit. The only negative is that the hotel is huge and has a conference center feel.

Customer service and attention to detail is always top notch. The room was beautiful, quiet, clean, and super comfortable. They were quick to deliver my bags and anything else I would request. I wish I would have stayed here longer.

The service here is top notch, was surprised that the cleaning staff came by to the room in the evening to do a quick round of a cleanup

Excellent transport links

Excellent breakfast, well located for metro lines, blackout blinds and great sitcom helped our jet lag, lovely pool to relax in after exploring Tokyo

The rooms were greatly kept and cleaned. The breakfast was incredibly good. Only problem I over ate ;-). Great location, near beautiful neighborhood and near train station. All needs were anticipated, I did not have to call to request for anything as they thought of everything i would need with a family.
