We had a room with three twin beds. The accommodations were tight but very well laid out and appointed with an excellent shower with rainfall faucet option. Staff were extremely helpful and understanding. Air conditioning worked, but like many Japanese hotels it will not let you freeze out the room (not a surprise, but an observation). The television was medium sized and had a decent selection of channels. Everything was exceptionally clean. If I had to give one negative, it would be that the washing machines on the 2F did not fully dry clothing but this may have been operator error on my part. Aside from the great staff, where Karaksa really shines is its location in relation to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashisuji. Each night you can walk out of this great hotel and within 3 mins be walking amongst the bustle of the canals. Would definitely stay here again if I ever found myself in Osaka again.

The room was clean and the bathroom was quite spacious for Japan. Breakfast was really good — lots of choices and the staff were very nice. I also liked that they offer free drinks 24 hours, which was a nice touch. The location was okay, though next time I might pick somewhere a bit more central in Dotonbori. They did charge extra for my kid even though I included her in the booking, which was a little disappointing since we didn’t use the extra bed.

This hotel is so centrally located. It was wonderful. Close to everything and easy access to the major train stations. The place was clean and the staff was very pleasant. The lobby was also very clean, but I think it needs to be a little bit more cozy and homey. Besides the dining area for the breakfast in the lobby itself, there’s no place to sit, but that’s just a minor detail. I found the air conditioning troubling. My partner was unable to sleep because it would get warm in the room and you couldn’t get it to work correctly. There’s a secondary smaller unit in the room so I guess it’s common knowledge that the main one doesn’t work well. The same thing happened with a couple friend of ours that was with us on the trip. That I believe needs to get worked on. The air conditioning is very very important. They have been wonderful service of assortment of coffees by a coffee machine. That was very convenient and it makes delicious coffees. Unfortunately, on our second day, the machine was under service and we could not use it but the rest of the time there we use them and it was magnificent. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. I can honestly tell you it’s one of the best breakfasts in a hotel that I’ve had in a very long time and I travel a lot. The assortment was wonderful from salmon to croissants and fried chicken and the list goes on and on. An absolutely wonderful breakfast

Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba helped make my visit to Osaka truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, everything felt well thought out — the facilities are spotless, the atmosphere welcoming, and the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. I especially want to commend Lin, Koshimizu, and Tei for their kindness and professionalism. Their warm hospitality made a real difference throughout my stay. The room was impressively spacious and comfortable, especially by Japanese standards. It was well-designed with a cozy table and stools, making it easy to relax or enjoy take-out meals in comfort. I also loved the thoughtful amenities — a replenish station offering skincare and toiletries, and a 24-hour free drink station with a nice variety of beverages to enjoy anytime. The on-site café has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe, and the breakfast was excellent — fresh, high-quality, and with a good variety of options that cater to different tastes. Overall, Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba delivers outstanding cleanliness, comfort, and service. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka.

It's a little bit of a walk to the subway stations if you have a lot of luggage. Check in went smoothly. They had secured our luggages from the Forwarding service. Hotel has complimentary snacks and beverage/water which was awesome. Room was clean and comfy. Loved that the toilet was separate for getting ready in the morning. The room did have a musty and sewery smell. Not sure if it was from the AC but wasn't pleasant. The fridge is tiny. Bed was comfy. Not a whole lot of hanging space. Lots of separate amenities in the lobbies if you need them. Great location for going to dontobori.

Nice room. No bathtub. Very small room. Great location. Not a luxury hotel but it's a great place to stay.
